Kara

Hello! My name is Kara, and I am a Canadian who has been living in Australia for almost a year now! I had lived in Sydeny for 6 months before travelling a little bit and then spending 4months living and working in rural Northern Territory! I am a high school mathematics teacher, and will be returning to my original position in the Sydney public schools in October. I am very passionate about travel, having lived abroad for the past two years, and I also love being active through all sorts of activities. I can be both introverted and extroverted, and overall am a very calm and relaxed person.

I am a friendly and respectful housemate who will always keeps things tidy! I enjoy the occaisional drink or meal together, but I also really value my personal space to recharge my battery after a long day. I love a morning coffee at the beach, hiking, camping and really any outdoor activity. I enjoy the occaisional night out at a nice cocktail bar or the pub for some pool, but I balance this with more of a focus on a healthy lifestyle, prioritiing healthy eating and fitness. I work weekdays (8am-4pm), and usually hit the gym before work and will tuck in for early nights.
