About me cover letter for rental

Hi, my name is Jeramiah. I’m 29 and currently on the NDIS. I’m single and looking to move back to Melbourne, where I grew up, to be closer to my family if possible.

I do have a disability, but it doesn’t affect my ability to make decisions for the most part. I value my independence and enjoy living in mainstream share housing. I get along very well with others and take pride in being a kind, polite, and respectful housemate.

I’m neat, tidy, and like to clean up as I go — I always leave a room the way I found it. I get along well with other tenants, don’t mind small talk, but mostly keep to myself. I often go out to spend time with family and friends.

I’m also interested in getting back into work and plan to volunteer in a casual role, such as at an op shop.

I’m very reliable when it comes to rent. My rent and bills are managed by State Trustees on my behalf, so you can rest assured that payments will always be made on time. I also have good references from my previous landlords.
