I’m a 29 year old female from America (I'm sorry, I did not vote for him) seeking a temporary flat while I complete my specified work for my WHV. I arrive on January 15th and my goal is to move to Brisbane around May. I have a masters degree in social work, I was a social worker with the NHS in England for a few years but excited to travel a bit and try new fields. I've been working as a waitress in my hometown for the past few months and genuinely enjoy a less stressful job- burn out is real! I do not have a job lined up yet, however my bubbly and positive personality hasn't failed me yet :P

I'm a people person but I also do my own thing a lot of the time- extroverted around those who bring me peace. I’m a morning person, like to stay active by going to the gym or yoga, and spend a lot of time watching Netflix and reading. I enjoy going out with friends for a pub quiz, dancing, or karaoke but I’m usually in bed by midnight (if not before). I joke that I’m Monica Geller clean and I’m not afraid of confrontation so I’m pretty assertive, but also pride myself in being very kind. I’d like to learn to drive eventually while in Australia but for now will be relying on public transport. Hobbies include watching TV shows, reading, meditation, podcasts, and I’m also a huge Disney fan! I try to say yes to as many opportunities as possible and do things just for the plot, I have a passion for learning and trying new things.

No food allergies (I’m a huge foodie but still working on my cooking skills) and since I’ll be moving abroad, would prefer a place that’s furnished.
