Aarkey and James

Hi!
We’re James and Aarkey. 🌼

James is originally from London and I’m from Australia. We’re both in our 20s and are looking to team up with like-minded singles or couples to rent a place together in town and create a genuinely comfortable and welcoming home.

Aarkey: I work as a support worker and at an eye centre, while also completing my surf coaching. My schedule is mostly weekdays with the occasional weekend. I’m quite active and enjoy starting my mornings early, usually heading to Pilates or the gym. In my free time, I love painting, working on photography, surfing, running, and spending time at the beach. I really value balance — staying active while also making space to slow down and recharge.

James: Works as a personal trainer and fitness mentor, so his hours vary day to day and he’s often in and out during the day for work. He’s very passionate about health and fitness and enjoys training at the gym, reading, watching the NFL, and spending time outdoors. When he’s not working, you’ll usually find him relaxing at the beach or bodyboarding.

We’re friendly, clean, respectful, and easy-going. We take pride in keeping shared spaces tidy and comfortable for everyone. We’re not looking for a party house, but rather a relaxed, chilled environment.

We have a van and love heading off on little weekend trips every now and then, and we’re both big travellers who are always keen to explore new places and make the most of our time. That said, we also really value having a calm and grounding home base to return to.

Ideally, we’re hoping to live with people who share similar values and interests, where we can create a warm, peaceful, groovy household. A place that feels like home. We’d love to live with people we can genuinely call friends, enjoy a cheeky bev with every now and then, share good conversations, and also fully respect each other’s personal space and routines. A home we’ve created together and are genuinely excited to come back to each day. 🤙🏽🌊
