My name is Nico, 28, and I'm looking for a new place to live in Townsville near the end of February (or somebody cool who wants to apply for places together). I’ve lived here for over 4 years and have a secure income. I’m looking for: a room for rent (ideally furnished) for at least 6 months, in a home or apartment. My budget is between $200-320 depending on the quality of the accommodation, I'm more concerned about a good fit than just jumping on the first available room. I don't have any pets!
Housemate style:
I’ve lived in shared houses since I was 18, though I have certainly learned many things since that time about what being a respectful roommate takes. I tend to keep to myself during the week as I get home from work in the late afternoon and then need to gym and cook/clean, so I won’t be in your space too often. I tend to be a bit more social once the weekend comes around 😊! I don't really have too much stuff other then clothes and personal room decorations.
A little about me:
I initially moved here for a master’s degree and have since found work in marine science and coral studies. I love to travel and go on spontaneous adventures and go on a few trips big trips most years. Periodically I work out of town for a week to three weeks at a time, mostly later in the year.
What I love doing:
I spend a lot of my recreational time at the gym after work, scuba diving, traveling for concerts, staying fit, and planning my next adventures. Interests of mine include history, motorcycles, music, hiking and nature! Dream house would have a piano, absolutely love to play.
