Hi, I’m a Sunshine Coast local mum currently looking to team up with another single parent to secure a larger home together in the Caloundra area.

I have my 2-year-old daughter and my 14-year-old sister in my care, and we’re ready to move into a home that better suits our next chapter. We’ve been living in Ridgewood for almost 4 years with a strong rental history and great references, but have outgrown the space and need to relocate closer to support.

Given how competitive the rental market is, I’m open to sharing a larger home (for example a 4–5 bedroom) with another single parent. Ideally, I’d love to connect with a single dad with one child, so we can create a balanced, respectful household where everyone has their own space but can also support each other where needed.

The goal would be to find something in the $1,000–$1,200 per week range and split costs fairly, making it much more manageable for both households. My personal budget is around $600–$700 per week.

A little about us — we live a quiet, structured lifestyle. I’m focused on raising my daughter, and I have stable income, savings, and upcoming part-time work. My sister is active and independent, and we spend a lot of time outdoors, especially at the beach.

I value a clean, respectful, and calm home environment, with good communication and clear boundaries. This would need to feel like a safe, stable space for both families.

We’re ideally looking in Caloundra, Caloundra West, Golden Beach, or Currimundi.
