Raye and Kiana

Hi, my name is Ray. I’m 30 years old, originally from China, and currently studying a Master of Nursing at Southern Cross University. I’m due to graduate in December this year.

I’m looking for two rooms for myself and my friend. She is a Chinese female, and we are both hoping to find a long-term home, ideally for 12 months. We would really love to live with locals, as we both hope to improve our English, experience more of Australian life, and build genuine connections here.

A little about me, I’m quite a traditional Asian person, but at the same time I really hope to build a life for myself in Australia and find a place that feels like home. I don’t have any family here, so I really value warmth, kindness, and a good atmosphere in the home.

At the moment, my life is mostly between university and hospital placements, so I stay quite busy and have a fairly routine lifestyle. I’m out most days at school or in hospital, so I’m only home part of the time. Because of that, I really value coming back to a calm, clean and comfortable place. I’m quiet, respectful, very tidy, and always mindful of other people’s privacy and personal space.

Even though I’m busy, I’d still really enjoy living in a home where people can occasionally sit down together for a drink, share a meal, have a chat, and talk about life. I love cooking, drinking tea, and enjoying simple time at home, but I also want to embrace more of the Australian lifestyle and feel more connected here. That’s one of the reasons I haven’t chosen to live only with Chinese friends, because I truly hope to improve my English, make local friends, and create a meaningful life here after graduation.

I’m someone who prefers to stay long term when I find the right place. I’ve been in my current place for almost a year, and I’d be happy to provide a reference if needed.
We are both respectful, tidy, and easy to live with, and we would really appreciate a peaceful, friendly, and well-cared-for home.

My friend has almost same conditions like me, but we prefer to talk to house owners in person, which is more effective. peace.
