Cameron

Hey, my name is Cameron, looking to move down to the Illawarra for work for a year (or hopefully more). I work in environmental science and project management, so I'm a full time worker.

I am neat and tidy and happily pitch in towards all sorts of cleaning and property maintenance. I am pretty outdoorsy so may not be around too much even on my days off. Love to go hiking, snowboarding, surfing, and rock climbing. At home I generally spend my time working at my computer or playing games with mates. Always happy to socialise with my flatmates if I'm free and you want to go out or watch a house show/movie. Also wouldn't mind a cook share if that's your thing.

I have a pet Kakariki (a small parrot) named Levi. She is extremely quiet for a parrot and can only be heard in the room she is in, if at all. She spends most of her day chilling on a high perch or scratching around the bottom of her cage, but doesn't mind the occasional ride on someone's shoulder.

I am looking for an unfurnished room that will fit a queen bed, and either has storage or will fit storage. Also happy for a team up, I have a few shared items from my last rent share to make things easier includes a washer, drier, microwave, plenty of kitchen supplies, and a 58" TV. Will look to sell most of it if the shared rental is already furnished.

While I love dogs and cats dearly there is a big risk keeping a bird in the same household. Any household with cats is an absolute no, I may consider a household with dogs if they can be isolated. She would spend most of her day in my room, either free roaming when I'm home or in her cage when I'm not. But it would be nice if I could have a small period each day where the dogs are outside so she can stretch her wings and get some flying in.
