Housemate Wanted – Supportive Living Arrangement with Purpose (NDIS-Friendly)
Hi there,
I’m a 35-year-old looking for a kind, patient, and reliable housemate to share a home and build a supportive living environment together.
I live with disabilities and am currently rebuilding my independence, including relearning aspects of executive functioning. Because of this, I do need some light, day-to-day support — things like gentle reminders, help staying organised, and occasional assistance with managing routines and NDIS-related tasks.
I want to be upfront: this isn’t a typical share house situation. I may need a bit more care and consistency than most housemates. That said, this is also a genuinely meaningful opportunity for someone who values connection, purpose, and making a real difference in another person’s life.
I’m hoping to find someone who:
* Is patient, empathetic, and emotionally mature
* Is comfortable offering light practical support (not full-time care)
* Values clear communication and mutual respect
* Is open to building a long-term, stable living arrangement
In return, I offer:
* A calm, respectful home environment
* Appreciation and genuine companionship
* The opportunity to be part of a positive, life-changing journey
* A situation that can grow into a long-term domestic partnership if it feels right for both of us
NDIS support structures can be discussed, and I’m open to working within appropriate arrangements.
If you’re someone who finds purpose in helping others thrive and wants a home environment built on kindness and teamwork, I’d love to hear from you.
Please reach out and tell me a bit about yourself, your experience (if any), and what you’re looking for in a living situation.
