Hi! I’m in looking for a room to rent in a easy going house! I work fifo on a 3 weeks on 1 week off roster, though sometimes I can be away for 2-3 months at a time. This means generally I would only be “home” for 6 days/nights a month. Ideally it would be with someone who owns their own place, or one/two other house mates looking to make a little or take a little extra off their rent without having a full time housemate. I’m super super easy going and sociable. When I actually am home I’m generally out and about enjoying my time away from work, so it is more than likely you will see little of me. I enjoy all things outdoors, wakeboarding, scuba diving, flying, fitness hiking etc so if you’re into anything similar it would also be ideal. Given my circumstances I’d be looking to rent a room cheaper than usual, once again ideal for someone who wants a bit extra towards their mortgage without having to share a house full time. Working full time at Woolies while slowly making my way through an engineering degree. Spend my free time bouldering, lifting, hiking, playing games (both tabletop and video), and reading. Got one 10 yr old cat who's happy just lounging around all day. Shes lived with a poodle before without any drama and was well adjusted to the dog within a fortnight. I've got a chilled-out and easy-going but quirky demeanour. Generally, get picked as much older than I am due to my maturity (and the glasses). A clean and tidy person; whilst I don't have OCD I've lived with people that did and they never complained about me. Will happily crack on with whatever housework that needs doing without being prompted whenever it pops up. Am looking for a calm place for my cat and me to live for the foreseeable future. Own a small library worth of books and have a cupboard stock full of various bits kit for my hobbies so would appreciate enough space to stow that away.
