Heya I’m Dave. I grew up in Brissy, but l've spent most of my 20s living in other beaut places, returning to Brisbane a year ago.
I’m 31 and well versed in the joy and art of sharehouse living, been doing it for 10+ yrs in some weird n wonderful places with some amazing friends from these! I have a career in landscape architecture and horticulture in Woolloongabba, and work from home 1-2 days a fortnight. I can and probs will name every plant, if you want to live in a jungle, let’s do it! Plus I genuinely really love caring for the yard hah!
In my free time I’m out in nature, surfing, camping, hiking adventures. Round home I’ll likely be found doing a bit of amateur oil painting haha, playing records, yoga, cooking up a dream, fermenting things, off grid homestead vibes meets big kid at heart. I'm pretty social and laid-back, into hanging out and relaxing with friends, markets, having friends round for dinner, games or backyard hangs.
A garden or private nook would be ideal, to unwind and recharge after a busy day.
My ideal house would be a cooperative vibe where we all pitch in to keep a vibrant and tidy home & create a chill atmosphere with good open communication.. when schedules line up, I’m down for a chat , end of week drink, share the occasional meal and socialise a bit, while being respectful of everyone's downtime, unwind time and privacy of course.
I'd prefer chill housemates where having someone over or any kinda whack self expression isn’t a big deal, let’s enjoy this one wild and precious life.
I’m ready to move as early as beginning of December, but can also wait until Jan after Woodford for the right place.
Ps. If there is a yard for me to setup or contribute to a garden for herbs etc and compost, I'll be a very happy man.
