I am starting my PhD studies at UQ, I study grassland ecology and one-two months June\Aug I will be out in the field. I am a little bit introvert, but of course, I would love to make new friends and have the support of my housemates. I spend quite a lot of time in my room during my free time because I like to see series, make some watercolor draws, sleep, reading or I'm studying. But, I also like to cook pies, lasagna, pizza on weekends for everyone. I also intend to cook my weekly meals. I like to travel, I am planning visiting many places that I see in the "Must do Brisbane", mainly the bush walks and the ones that involve water =D. I am also planning to go around by bicycle. I would love to have a garden or a balcony for some food herbs. I am not the most fitness person but attend to the gym regularly. I love animals, so I totally agree with having animals in the house, though I am not bringing my own with me, don't like jailed birds. I to go to the cinema watching some science fiction or animation movies. And, I see a general preference in Brisbane seems to be wine, but I do prefer beer. I am looking for a quiet house, mostly… BBQ on weekends is pretty ok, or playing boardgames sometime o/.

Yes, im not looking to move until 27 June as that is when my current lease is up. I am starting to look now as what I need may be harder to find. I am currently living in a granny flat so I have more personal items than someone who is just renting a room would so for that reason I need a larger than average room. In terms of the room I would like to find, it would have to be close to bus stops into the city, have a ceiling fan and built in robes. I would love it if there was already a queen size bed but I can always buy one so its not a must. My own bathroom would be lovely as well as that is what I am used to but is not necessary but I do need somewhere to park my car as I get the bus to work. I work full time in the city as a Business Support Officer for the Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women. Ideally I am looking for housemates that can also be mates. Occasional dinners and/or drinks would be most welcome as I am originally from the Gold Coast so all my friends and family are down there and I still head down there a lot so I would prefer a southside location.

Living on the Sunshine Coast but after a second house in Brisbane. In my 6th year of study at QUT. Lived in many share houses before. Exceptionally clean, quiet and respectful of others in the house. Would be great if those I live with end up being long term friends. Love nature, the outdoors and animals.

Hi! I'm a 41 years old Portuguese teacher who's living in Brisbane and has the purpose of permanently live in this country. I'm currently studying (in Brisbane City) and working (in Santa Lucia). I am a social person and I enjoy to spend time with friends and family. But I also enjoy my privacy and respect other's too. I pride for being tidy, clean and conscious. As any good Portuguese, I enjoy to cook. Even if I don't do it every day, I am definitely going to need to use the kitchen. No worries, I always leave everything tidy and clean. At the moment, I'm not only looking for a good place to live close to city centre, but also for a nice environment at home. I have a 50cc scooter, so it would be nice to find a place where to park it. Please feel free to ask anything you’d like to know. Hope you have a great day. Regards, Vanda

Hey everyone, My home is usually a place to chill out and recharge from work. I’m quiet at home, but don’t mind catching up with house mate/s at times. I enjoy having a laugh and good conversation. I’m easy-going, open and honest. I usually go out to see friends and family on the weekends or chill at home. I’m past the partying stage, but don’t mind a social drink on occasions. I’m clean and tidy and respectful of others. If you would like to chat send me message or give me a call.

Hi everybody! I'm looking for a private bedroom, possibly furnished. Budget: 200$ pw, 😃 Area: 20 min by bicycle around Woolloongabba. I have an extremely severe smoke induced asthma that can potentially cause me to stop breathing. So for medical reasons I canNOT live with cigarette/cigars/joints smokers, not even outdoor/at the window (the smoke enters). Also incense triggers the asthma, candles are ok. Thank you for your comprehension on this. I like to stay in company and alone too. I've always paid the rent and bills on time, I leave common areas very clean, I fix things. I like harmony between people and home for me is the place where I feel I can relax, safe, respected. For achieving this I'll put effort to maintain an open, clear, positive and constructive communication. Would be amazing to live with someone who enjoys naturism.
