Hi, in Nathan! I've just moved back up to Brisbane after selling my house down in Melbourne for a shift in career and have begun reeducating myself as an Engineer at QUT.

I'd say I'm an easygoing and friendly person who like values their own space, but also doesn't mind a social drink, movie or dinner from time to time. Not looking for a party house, but something cozy and comfortable. I am single and too busy with Uni and Work to think about dating, so it is just me at the moment.

I'm looking for a place in a walkable neighbourhood (and ideally not too far from public transport and bike paths) in suburbs surrounding the CBD so I can get to QUT without too much trouble. Joining an existing place would be okay, but I also like the idea of finding someone and then picking a place to suit both of us.

As for a housemate, someone like me would be ideal; relaxed and a little social, but respectful and generally a sensible adult. I myself am bi, have ADHD and am an ally to all so I do not have any qualms sharing with someone of any gender, someone who identifies differently or someone who is a little 🧠🌶️ (maybe prefered actually, as we'd probably get on better!).

Hobby wise, I am a classical musician and science nerd (professionally trained flute player! Though I don't play much these days so don't worry about noise), I enjoy some TV watching and PC gaming from time to time, and socially I'm more of a boardgames-and-wine person than a loud-music-and-party person.

For work I do regular business support contracting with a main company that pays well and affords me the freedom to study. As for other financial security, I currently get Austudy Payments + Rent Assist, and I've also got a large amount of savings from my house sale dedicated to cover my living and study over the next 5 years.
