Easy going girl from Germany. I like to have a drink sometimes but Im not a party animal.
Hi, I'm Tamara and I'm dutch. I still live in Amsterdam, but will move to Brisbane to start a new adventure soon. Easy going, tidy, sociable are 3 words that would describe me best. I always lived with room mates, so I can say I'm pretty familiar with the whole room mate atmosphere. In general I always try to make sure that I'm considerate of my room mates and also leave a nice environment for them. I love having drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and couch sessions with my roomies, altho I can also enjoy some alone time to recharge my batteries. Next to that I'm always up for board games! Currently I'm working as a product manager for a sustainable fashion brand, but I feel like a new challenge. That's why I decided to leave my job and country to start fresh in Australia. Please note I'm not a back packer. I'm looking for something long term and built something.
I will be moving to Brisbane at some point in February, as I'm still waiting for my 407 Visa. I would prefer a place close to the city center, as I will be working there. I am looking for a quiet place where privacy is not an issue, hopefully not too small and not too hot hopefully. Ideally with a fast internet connection and plenty of light, I am not a fan of gloomy places. As for myself, I am a PhD student in computer science coming from Athens, Greece. I am going to be in Brisbane for 5 months for an internship, so most of my weekdays will be spent at work, but I still would love to meet people who would be willing to go out for a drink and explore the city with me during the weekend (especially the beaches). I really love music - I try to play the guitar from time and time and I'm also trying to learn how to sing at the moment. I also enjoy drawing, reading or just watching movies or series to chill before going to bed. However, I mostly enjoy the sun and being outdoors for a walk or coffee, I really can't handle staying inside for too long. I really love cats and dogs even more, so if you have a pet it would be a great plus for me!
Hello i’m Korean. i'm outgoing and I'm good with people. i'm looking for a room to stay with my friend. I have no pet and I will clean my room. I am going to live 4 months and my friend is going to live 6 months.
Hi next housmate ! I am Marjolaine from France. I am used to come to Australia, in Brisbane or Melbourne where I have Australian friends. I like so much your country, especially the Gold Coast, that I have decided to stay there for a while. I was a sales assistant for 15 years, very hard worker (my work was everything for me!) but, on March 2018, I have decided to quit it and to live ! I have decided to sell my apartment as well, to start my new life ! So, even if I am not having a salary each month, I can easily pay the rent, not be worried about it !😉 I want to enjoy the coast during my stay but, also, I would like to improve my english and work a little so, I have decided to get a student visa (even at 40 ! Everything is possible..). I am going to have english lessons. About me.. people say that I am very organised, easy going woman, independant, very clean (I am quite maniac, I like doing the cleaning ! It is like cleaning my head at the same time 😁), quite as well. I like going to the gym, walking on the beach for 1 or 2 hours, laying on the sun. I like to travel; Italy, Spain, New York, French Polynesia, Dubai, Singapour, South of America (...) and Australia of course ! I like meeting new people (even if I can be shy at the beginning), I like to discover other culture. I am the kind of person who will do the most to live my dreams, we only live once.. I am vegetarian but I am ok with meat. I do not like to cook, I can only make french crepes ! 😋 I am a no smoker, no drugs. I like having a glass of wine sometimes, before or after dinner, but never drunk !! I am looking for a nice place, a house or apartment, with my own room and own bathroom, and of course with a nice homestay ! The "plus" would be with a very nice view in a modern place😀. That is me and what I am looking for ! 😀 Feel free to ask me whatever you want, I will be glad to answer you. With the pleasure to meet you soon Best Regards, Marjolaine
I’m a friendly, relaxed, clean and tidy girl looking for a room to rent for at least 12 months. I work part-time and study two courses full-time. I love cooking, working out, going out socialising, the beach and exploring new places as much as I can. I also like my own space and am respectful of other's.
Easy going, like to keep tidy. Enjoy socialising, cooking, going to live sport, drinks and dancing on weekends. Looking for a room or house mate that I can enjoying talking to and relaxing with at times after work, respectful of personal time and space. Pretty flexible around sharing a space and have some furniture but not everything. I work in Mining so will be travelling for work mid-week most weeks of the year.
We are a couple working in full time jobs. Im working in Finance and my partner as a carpenter. We love the nature and our new hobbie is play tennis. We are looking for a quiet and nice place to stay 6 months or longer.
Hi guys. I'm moving to Brissy in February to start my first full time job, and seeking a place to lay my head. I'm a chill, responsible guy looking for either a private flat or a room in a shared flat/house with fun, sociable housemates. Ideally close to the CBD/Fortitude Valley area but I'm flexible. Cheers.
My name is Shan and I am a 22 year old student at QUT in Gardens Point. I also work as a marketing assistant part-time in Newstead. I just moved back to Australia after living abroad. I lived with other students so I have experience flatting with others.
I like cleanliness so guarantee I won’t be messy or unhygienic. Love listening to music so dance parties are a must! Very social so if you guys wanna hang out and do stuff I’ll be down! Just enjoy a bit of a laugh! Great at cooking!
Friendly couple passionate about sport we are in living Brisbane since a years and half to study personal training. We are looking for a peaceful place to share for the next 6 month at least.
I'm an outgoing, friendly and funny Canadian who has recently become a lawyer, yay! I am easy going, clean and considerate. I'm usually up for anything from going to the movies, to the beach, to the art gallery or out for a dance. I also love to chill out at home and watch Netflix or do some cooking. I have lived in Aus for a few years now and I've had some great housemates in the past. I give people their space but I'm also down for a chat or to hang out. Besides all the fun stuff, I will be mostly busy with work and studying for Canadian law exams.
Bubbly and friendly personality, and easy to get along with. Always clean, and respectful of others. I'm just looking for something short term for about 2 months until I head off to Canada for work. I work a few nights a week in the city bartending so i mainly do night shifts.
My name is Alex. I'm a 20 year old female moving to Brisbane from Victoria with my partner Ryan, a 20 year old male. We are both taking a working gap year this year as we establish ourselves in Brisbane. I work as a personal care assistant in aged care while Ryan works in retail. We are clean, responsible and quiet young adults, however we're both very friendly and love to have a chat.
I will be joining the PhD program at QUT where I will focus on smart cities, gender and social justice. This means that my weekdays are desk-intensive and my weekends are out&out-adventures. Ideally, a furnished room in the vicinity of the school would do the trick. Quirks and Foibles: •Chai is a daily ritual- it's my constant mission to perfect it. And there is the occasional cake I will bake and the curry I will try to make. •I love Splitwise... and making lists/infographics/charts and actioning them all out. I have been known to go on cleaning binges when generally guilting on life. •I walk EVERYWHERE...well, in this case, mostly to school and almost everywhere else---reasons include carbon footprint, understanding neighborhoods and staying local. •Adulting is hard and every comrade (incld. cats) counts. Gigs, climbs, poetry, meals, board games, hikes, beach, talks, Brooklyn 99, yoga, Handmaid's Tale--- I'd be up for it with lots of time-outs factored in.
