My lease is almost up and I am looking for an apartment to move into at the end of October. Ideally looking for one other person to team up with :) Must Haves: Own bedroom. Pool. Modern, clean apartment with 2 bedrooms max. Secure parking spot. Reasonably quiet area. Mature and responsible housemate. Inner city location. Prefer to Have: Own bathroom. I would like to be added to an existing lease. Balcony. About me: Mature and career focused working Mon-Fri in Marketing. Not interested in a party house. Love going to the gym, netflix, seeing friends, and cooking/baking in my spare time. I come with high speed wifi, a couch, fridge, microwave, TV and outdoor dining set. I don't have a pet but if you have a cat or dog that's a bonus ;) If we sound like a good match, hit me up
Hi there, i'm currently just working full time getting back to a more normal life after having spent the last year and a half in North America. I'm easy going, love to cook and am down for a drink. Interests include travel and music, I find it very hard to turn down a gig or festival. Very clean housemate with shared spaces, and probably wont be up too late as I work mornings. Love a bit of banter but also respect peoples needs for personal space. Looking to move in to somewhere some time after mid October. Cheers, Libby
Hi, I'm Karina :) I work full time at the rspca (monday to friday). I'm very tidy and respectful of everyone's space. I have a happy rescue dog Willow who can be unsure of new people at first but once she is comfortable with you she is extremely social! I'm wanting to live with people that would be happy to have her around as a part of the family :). She stays outside when no one is home but is used to being allowed in doors to relax when people are around / sleeps inside with me. I'm either at the beach surfing, adventuring with my dog / friends or relaxing at home. As i do work 8+ hours a day I am looking for a home that has grass/ a yard for willow to relax in. I also go away on weekends sometimes for trips in my van. I'm friendly and easy going, always up for a laugh and a wine/beer. I'm not the greatest cook but am definitely trying to learn :) I need full fencing for willow but she has lived with other dogs so doesn't need to be on her own. Thanks!
I am looking for something stable and clean. I'm a little bit of a neat freak so I can't handle dirty house mates. Would much prefer my own bathroom. My own kitchen would be amazing if available. I'm quiet but easy going, easy to talk to if you want a conversation but will leave you alone and give you your space. I'm a bit of a work-a-holic, so there will never be an issue with rent. I don't like parties, always more excited to curl up with a book and cuddle my cat, he is a big part of my life. It's me and my boy against the world. I love to gardening and art, painting is something I like to do outside. I currently live with my best friend, her partner, brother and another housemate but they have changed their plans for the close future. I don't want to move to Ipswich with them as I have too much in Brisbane and Gold Coast.
Hey there! My name’s Hannah. I currently live with a lovely couple in our Brisbane City apartment, but unfortunately they’re moving interstate for work, so I’m on the hunt for a new place to live! I work full time Monday to Friday and I’m often up early most days to get to the gym before work. I’m clean and respectful, but I’m always up for a chat and a drink after work or of a weekend. I love brunching, baking and getting out and about during my spare time. Ideally, I’d love to find a room big enough to fit a queen sized bed and chest of draws with my own bathroom. If you think I’d be a good fit in your place I’d love to hear from you!
Hi, I'm Kirsty, 24 years old and working in the construction industry - full time and long hours! I try to lead a health lifestyle but love indulging in a good bottle of red and lush food which is what weekends are for :)
I’m a busy clean person who is just looking for a place for me and my 2 dogs to relax. My dogs are in day care during the day and would only be home at nights. I generally keep to my room when I’m home but I love to cook and relax with people as well.
I'm a full-time post-grad cancer researcher with QUT looking for a sharehouse to move into with my sweet cat. I work a lot and have a variety of hobbies so I'm not home very much and when I am, I like to unwind with some Netflix, a cider and board or video games. I love to cook and bake so would be down for some housemate meals now and then. I'm hoping to move in with people I get along and can hang out with but I'm also respectful of privacy and like to have my own down-time. I've lived in share houses for a while and appreciate open & honest communication. I actually enjoy cleaning, it helps me to relax so I would really struggle living with someone who was messy. Ideally I'm looking for a long term home and to sign a lease. I have an entire kitchen worth of utensils & cookware plus a microwave and a clothes dryer. Plus everything needed for a bedroom. My cat Pepperoni is a senior girl who loves to snuggle and be around people but can be shy at first. She gets along great with other animals if they're also laid-back and are happy to give her space if she needs it. She's non-destructive (have rented with her for over 5 years and always get my bond back) and I clean up after her religiously - I'd never want her to be a burden on anyone else!
I'm clean, I like to cook, I enjoy socialising and have a mild obsession with music. I recently moved back from the UK (hence why I'm looking for a place). By day I work as a developer of sorts in the city, its a job that is both massively frustrating and extremely enjoyable. Double edged sword and all that. By night I work on various start ups (not my own). My previous share house experience includes 3 years in Rochedale South, with two dogs and Auchenflower for 2 years. When I'm not working, I enjoy working on cars, exploring, going to the gym and socialising with friends. I also quite like making cocktails and enjoy the odd beer :)
Hey I am 27 & I work full time in the city. I go to gym in the mornings & I tend to catch up with friends for dinners a couple of times a week or go for walks around kangaroo point after work, so I'm not always around the house. I am looking to move into a place that feels like home with a flatmate that I can be friends with. I am clean & tidy. I love to have my own down time at home but would also love to be able to socialise with my flatmate. I like to be out & about on the weekends catching up with friends, going to the beach, shopping, bushwalking etc. I also love my lazy nights in bingewatching TV & eating marshmallows🐷. I am past the big party days, but do love to head out to bars every now and then. If I sound like someone you would get along with, send me a message 😊
Hi I’m Kaitlin! I’m a young uni student who also works nights bartending. I’m looking for a room within reasonable travelling distance to UQ. Im a positive and happy person who loveable having a chat but am also introverted and sometimes keep to myself. Looking for a place to stay until the end of the year, will likely extend staying time if I love the place.
Kasia and I became housemates nearly a year ago and its time time leave the nestled. My friends Mum owns the place and she selling. Kasia is Polish and over here on a study visa for 2 years. She's super chill and so easy to live with. We have a lot of fun living together. Myself, I have a cat, Louie - he's a sweet little boy and I adore him, so does Kasia. He's an inside boy and very well toilet trained. I work full time as a florist and Kasia works part time, expect on uni break, she picks up more hours, shes in aged care. We both enjoy our days off by the ocean, going on hikes, basking in the sun, anything outdoors really. Coffee and music in the mornings. I go to yoga daily and try drag her along with me. I ride my push bike to work most days (when im on time) Im a pretty shitty vegan and Kasia is 100% meat eater. Meal times can be interesting for us. Though we both enjoy cooking together, Kasia happily eats vegan with me :) I have a girlfriend and Kasia is searching for the man of her dreams. She's been cat fished a few time on POF
Hi, I’m a first year student doing psych degree at UQ. I'm easy-going and respectful. Not a party animal but I’m sociable. Living a healthy life; love arts, films and all kinds of music.
Hey guys! Mainly looking for a team up! Me and my best friend have been looking at houses in west end/ South Brisbane area! We are super easy to get along with, both studying and work part time and are creative types. I do have a dog Huxley, who is a 12 year old spoodle that loves pats and food and following humans around, so you would have to be okay with dogs! We are looking to move in November, but could be earlier! We have a bunch of furniture but would need to buy a fridge and washer ( we are happy to buy one each and keep them, so you wouldn't need to buy either ! ) Love a red wine, music, relaxed environment and are both super tidy. Looking for someone, or two people to create a lovely relaxing abode to come home to.
I'm 19 and very outgoing. I'm also very social but also like to have my own time. I like to keep my room tidy clean. I have recently broken up with my boyfriend, so im just focusing on myself. I am currently working as a casual but looking to also get a 2nd job. I like to talk to people and very friendly. Im easy going and non judgemental. i love to cook! I was born in Thailand but moved to Australia 10 years ago. I may be young but I am not immature. I would love to help clean and stuff.
Looking for someone/s to move out with at the end of November. My lease will be up at my currently place and am wanting to find somewhere a bit nicer. I work full time, and if I’m not at work I’ll eotjer be watching Netflix, hanging in my room, or out with my boyfriend. I have a cat called Kendrick who is a big cuddly sweetie that likes to play. He has more of a puppy personality than a cat. Looking for someone super chill.
Hi my name is nikki. Im 26 and a soux chef working full time cafe hours. Im a pretty clean and down to earth kind of person. Im both kept to myself but i enjoy a occasional wine and a laugh. I have a pet fish and I'm looking to get a medium sized puppy on application. I would like somewhere comfortable and more long term. I'm looking forward to meeting you Peace!
Hi, I'm Brendan, 31yr old electrician (working Monday to Friday). I've just moved here from Newcastle, NSW and am excited to see what Brisbane has to offer! I enjoy friendly banter with roommates, but also enjoy my own company. I'm looking for a room ASAP and am very flexible.
Hi future housemate/s we are a young married couple who both work away. I travel a lot for work & most weeks am only home on average 3-4 days out of the week. My husband also works away & is a FIFO worker doing 2weeks on 2 weeks off. We are not orginally from Brisbane so we do not know to many people although we do love to socialise. We both are pretty active people & love to be out & about. We are looking for any like minded people who are trustworthy, clean, respectful, down to earth & enjoy a drink a laugh. We are not party animals but we do enjoy a bbq & a drink. We are only looking for a 4-6month lease at this stage as we are inbetween selling and buying again. We would like to have our own bathroom and a room that is big enough to have a tv. Our own balcony or outdoor space would be ideal. We don't have much preference for area to live in as long as we are within close proximity of the city. Our budget is $300 with bills included. We would love to be near a train station but it is not a deal breaker. We are also interested in teamups with person/couple that work fulltime. We love animals but not inside. Anyhow feel free to message. Look forward to meeting :)
Hello! I'm moving to Brisbane early 2019 and would ideally like a home to rent close to South Brisbane. I'm a graduate, but will be studying and working part-time there. I love a clean, organised house and tend to get along with almost anyone. Thanks in advance~
I'm travelling from London down to Brisbane for a study course which kicks off at September. I'm looking for a place to stay for 3 months (but possibly longer). About me, I'm an easy going, conscientious, positive ''young heart with an old soul'. Get along with most people, big on respect - regardless of age gender creed etc. And see it as a 2-way street. Happily get stuck in with others when fun is involved and just as equally happy to chill & keep to my own company. Most of my interests don't make for a noisy flat mate - books, films, music, arts, nature. I do like my cleanliness but I'm not overly OCD. I don't mind pets at all (love most!). And I'll happily answer any questions. Thanks for reading!!
