Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. We are soon to be refugees as I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and we're in limbo until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. FAQ's So, Zeph, what do you do with your time? - Having worked in the coal mines for years, I'm now two years into a well-deserved sabbatical. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Waking up each day with a clean slate is pretty fun - highly recommend it. Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise or pretty much anywhere in Brisbane - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time!
Hey guys, We're a very easy going couple who gets along with everyone. I'm working full time & Max studies full time & works part time. We are both music producers so are in the studios until late at night, you won't see us often as we're both quite busy but we do love a good Sunday BBQ :)
2 friends looking for a new home. Ideally we would like to have a separate room from each other due to our work demands and lifestyles. Laura: Keep to myself most of the time but can be social, love to cook/bake. Like to keep my space tidy. Enjoy going out and adventuring my surroundings. Zoe: Likes personal space but can be social. Likes to keep her space clean and tidy.
I'm a 26yo software engineer working full time in east brisbane. I'm a sport and outdoor activities enthusiast. I do rock climbing with UQ sometimes in kangaroo point and sometimes indoor. I also started doing Muy Thai recently. So during the week i'm usually out till 7 or 8pm. I'm reasonably social and house trained, and i'm mainly looking for a place to call home where people are willing to communicate and maybe share a meal or drink whilst respecting each others privacy at the same time when it's needed. I'm into music and play guitar sometimes (I got my awesome headphone that i use when i wanna play, so you don't need to worry about the noise if it bothers you). Preferably looking or a place in West End with an undercover garage, but that's not a must.
Hey all! Im returning from India on November 16 and need a new place to stay short term. Long story short, I'll be moving to Melbourne in January some time for university! If you wondering, yes I have the capacity to support myself, pay bond and Rent until this time. I'll also be looking for some casual work to fill my time and save some money for Woodford Folk Festival! Of course you are welcome to join! A bit about myself, I'm an ex banker who left earlier this year to pursue tertiary studies and live a new dream. I'm 23 (male) and have lived in Brisbane since 2011 and have had numerous leases under my name with no problems in the past. I can give you my most recent reference if you need. I am flexible with any household arrangements that might include chores and bills. I only ask that there be good internet! I love to cook vegetarian meals, and am a bit of a yogi (who likes to party every now and again). I know everyone says it, but I do mean it when I say Im clean! But, not over excessively; many house shares has taught me how to love dirty dishes that aren't mine! Anyway, if you want to know more please email me or, like I said, I return to Aus on the 16th and can meet and inspect after this date! Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers Zach ps I'm looking for south side residence, but obviously can be swayed if you think we will get along and you have a killer pad ;)
Hey there. I'm a 31 year old Queenslander looking for a new place. I'm looking to move in with a friendly girl who has their own life but likes to hang out together as well on occasion, and share a glass of wine after a long work day! I don't smoke (ever) and am ridiculously neat and tidy! I work full time in Newstead in recruitment. Have lived in share houses before so I know the drill. Hope to hear from you, Lauren.
Enjoy having a good chat and chilling out, but also respect the privacy of others. I'm studying or working most of the time so I just want to come home to friendly faces and a comfortable environment. I also have a car so I would prefer a place with available parking.
I am an Italian-American student coming on exchange to UQ for Semester 1 of 2017 from McGill University in Canada. I am studying Geography, with minors in French and Economics, and I enjoy traveling, videography, music, and trying new foods. I am looking to share a house with some flatmates near campus! :) Hoping to find a great group of 3-4 other students to live with - either returning students or other exchange students - just looking for a fun group of people!
I'm early 30's with wide ranging interests in world affairs, sport, food, cars, travel, ++.
I'm a clean, considerate and fairly quiet housemate, but I definitely love house dinners and going out and having fun. I work part-time at an alcoholic beverage seller and study full-time at QUT. I'm friendly so long as you are friendly to me.
I'm a friendly 24 year old guy, who has just moved to Brisbane from the UK. I graduated University in 2014, since then i have done a fair bit of traveling in South America and Asia and am now here to see what Australia has to offer, I enjoy meeting new people of all nationalities and am very open minded. In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, watching sport and enjoying a beer with friends. I also love nature and wildlife. I am looking to stay in Brisbane until March/April time before heading down the East coast to visit friends and family.
I'm looking to make a move to Brisbane to study. I am clean and sociable, but also like to keep to myself when I am studying. I will also be working casually so I probably won't be in the house very much.
I'm Kelly - 29 - Looking for a place to share closer to work as I have started a new job in Murarrie. I'm really fun and easy going. I like to go to the gym and eat healthy foods and whip up my green juices. With that being said, I also love to eat out and try new foods. I am not a party animal by any means, but sometimes would like to have friends over for wine & cheese etc and I do enjoy going out to a nice bar for a few drinks. I work in the Events industry Mon-Fri and sometimes the odd weekend. I would totally respect your space and I am very clean and Tidy! I'm pretty busy most weekends catching up with friends and family and love to get out and about. Can't say I'm every really home too much on weekends. I would love to find a room mate who can also be my friend, enjoy a chit chat, wine or go out to breakfast etc every now and again.

Looking for a place to stay or someone to move into a new place with. Preferably around my age. I'm pretty quiet and keep to myself but also enjoy a good drink. I am moving to Brisbane at the end of the year and looking for a team- up, room/ house/flat to rent. Looking for either guys or girls between the ages of 25-35. I am fairly quiet (until you get to know me), easygoing, like alone time and also up for a chat and a social drink. I have shared houses with people before and still remain very good friends with them. I am respectful of other people's things and I would like the same. I don't drink much or go out much, just out here and there for outings etc. with friends for coffee, brekky dates, dinner and others. I'm also keen on a backyard barbie and a few drinks with some music. I am clean but not a clean freak but like it if we help each other out and I am understanding if you need a break. I'd like a place to call home and feel comfortable living. I work in education and I won't be working over the Christmas holidays and am applying for jobs however I will have an income over the holidays. I also am into fitness and looking for someone to either workout too or show me some areas. I am happy to help out around the house and buy my own food and so forth. I will have my own bed.
We are two friends in our mid-twenties (29 is still mid, right?!), both working full time and relocating from Central Queensland to Brisbane on January 3. Yvette works as a beauty therapist and Aly is in journalism and communications. We have a small dog, a 4-year-old Mini Dachshund named London, who will also be coming along for the ride. We are looking for a third female to live with us in either a house or large townhouse in South Brisbane. The house will be fully furnished, except for your room. We are open to those who would like to be on the lease with us, or not. We are both super friendly, easy-going and love a celebration when one is called for. We are equally as hard-working, health-conscious and sensible when we need to be. In our spare time we love getting outdoors; going to the beach, exercising and hanging out with friends. We would like to live with someone who shares the same mindset as us; who can contribute to the household and get along with the banter, but also respect down-time and is genuinely honest and considerate. Ideally, we would like to live with someone who also works full time. Oh, and you must love dogs (and let's be honest, he'd be upset if he knew we were referring to him as a dog)! It goes down in the DM's - message us for more info! :)
Hey the names Dave I'm 24 and from Ireland. I moved to Brisbane in February and am currently a few weeks away from finishing my farm work for my 2nd year visa so am living out west at present. Hello, My name is Jennifer and I am looking to move asap. I'm looking for a room which is air-conditioned, has a good size as I study and sew (my hobby) generally from my room. I have my own bed and bedroom furniture. I am currently studying, I am also involved with volunteer work at my Church. I am a Christian and would prefer a Christian home and environment, or at least one that is not antagonistic toward Christian faith. I am diligent, clean and tidy, I have studied Public Health at Griffith University (undergrad). I can't be around cats, drugs and dislike the effects of alcohol (it changes people). I don't smoke. I'm pretty quiet in my own space, but i have a great sense of humour and sense of fun and enjoy communication with those around me, but totally respect and expect the need for privacy. I love to do my own thing and am completely independent. I have a vehicle and would appreciate off-street parking if that is available, under-cover even better :) I don't mind sharing with male or female, or the age group. The price I have quoted would possibly include bills and use of unlimited wifi? Air-con in room is essential for which I can contribute a reasonable amount more per-week for elec if required. Being summer, a pool at the premises (house or town-house) would be a happy bonus! Do I sound like a fit, or close fit for your place? If so, please contact me at your earliest. Thank you, Jennifer :)
I am clean and tidy, quiet, and very easygoing. I've been sharing houses with diverse nationalities and age groups. So I have enough experience to share a flat with and respect others privacy.
I am a hard working gal who has just landed a city based job and would love to live close to the city with a great housemate! I enjoy a fun weekend either going out to dinner with friends or having a glass of wine in but I do also love my down time and alone time so I enjoy reading and having tv marathons when I need to. I am looking to move in with someone around the start of next year or I am flexible on the time if I find the perfect housemate/s.
I am clean, respectful and friendly. Due to start a degree in Medical Laboratory Science at QUT in 2017 and I would like to find a place where I can study but get along with other housemates. I am very laid back and wouldnt mind if there were parties, as long as I can have my space when needed. Would prefer to live with people close to my age who are open minded and easy going but also responsible.
Hi! We are looking for a nice place to live! Marshall is a full-time working electrician and Mina studies film production. We are friendly and reliable couple. We would like to live by ourselves, NOT shared with others, in a house or apartment, preferably on the North and West sides of Brisbane. We can't move in until 1st of January. If any of our neighbors have a cat they will be our (especially Mina´s) best friends :) Please contact us if you have anything that could be of interest! Cheers, Marshall and Mina
Very outgoing happy and bubbly person! I live a very active and healthy lifestyle however love the occasional wine. I enjoy coming home to a relaxing household and am very conscious of other people's space and privacy. I clean up after myself and love a chat :) I'm looking for a room with an ensuite or that has own bathroom.
*Flexible move in date* Hey flatties! I'm Melissa and I work full time as a nurse. I don't have a set routine (shift work!) but I try and maintain some normality and generally lay low on shift days - get to the gym, grocery shop and general housekeeping. That said, I am sociable and enjoy getting outdoors, eating out, casual drinks, beach and markets on my days off. I like the company of others but equally enjoy time to myself. I'm no control freak but I do like to maintain a clean & tidy living space. I would prefer no more than 2-3 roomates. Text or email to contact me. Looking forward to meeting my new roomies!
Hello I am working full time as a Project Manager in the events industry. I am clean, open minded, friendly, social and respect other peoples property and privacy. I have a 3 year old cattle dog named Morris who is an outside dog, good guard dog, he is a big whimp who loves cuddles and fetching. He is very well disciplined, not destructive at all and will only bark at strangers entering the property until prompted to stop barking. I currently live in New Farm and am looking for a change of scenery and social environment. On the weekends I enjoy having beers, fishing, the great outdoors, watching movies, bbqs all that sort of stuff. I play sports twice a week and boxing training once sometimes twice a day in the valley. I am looking to live with sociable like minded people who keep communal areas clean.
I am in my late 20s and have recently graduated. I like to keep it to myself most of the times and also respect others privacy, but that certainly doesn't mean that I am not up for a chat sometimes. A non smoker, not quite a party person and yes, NOT pet friendly either. I like to keep the house clean but not too finicky, so a relaxed person to stay with. I like to cook and happy to share the food(eat at your own risk though :D). Looking for a place to share with no more than two people.
I'm a Malaysian Chinese relocating to Brisbane for work. I'm an internal auditor. I studied at Melb Uni, so I'm not new to the Aussie culture. I'm easy-going, happy to pull my weight in doing house chores, clean and tidy. I'll be alone most of the time (save for the occasional visits from my husband/mum - 2-3 times a year, up to 2 weeks each time). I'm happy to socialise with my housemate(s) but equally respect everyone's need for privacy. I don't smoke or drink/party much (love a glass of wine once in a while!). In my free time I read, sing and (try to) work out ;) I'm looking for a furnished room with a queen bed and own bathroom (will consider sharing with one other lady). Feel free to send me a message if you have a suitable place! Thank you :)
Hey! Looking for a flatmate to join myself and another guy in a unit in windsor. I'm easy going, into sports, and like to unwind with a beer some weekends. I work part time and study psychology and justice at QUT. I have a little cornish rex cat called Bobo who is very affectionate and sheds very little. I'm looking for someone who is tidy, is okay with me having my partner over some nights a week, who doesn't sweat the small stuff and can communicate their needs and wants effectively so we can have a peaceful household :) Any gender welcome.
Easy going, clean professional. Looking for a spacious room & home where I can relax & unwind after work & on the weekends. I work Monday- Friday & often go to gym after work. On the weekends I'm usually socialising with friends and doing my own thing.

I come with my beautiful 7yr female Kelpie X named Jess. She is a great guard dog, but not a yapper. Super smart with a friendly infectious personality. Jess, loves a good belly rub, will retrieve almost anything you throw for her, is well trained in and outside the house. We occasionally have a visitor or two, mostly if I am not out running or walking with Jess or visiting friends generally You will find me watching The Walking Dead on Foxtel, or movies, music videos via Chromecast.. The Foxtel will be coming with me and would be happy to consider making it available in the main living area as well as my room. I am pretty easy going, not much phases me. Always happy to lend an ear or advice if asked. Hoping to find like minded people for Jess and I to share with.

I'm searching for a similar minded chick to move in with at the end of the year/ very early January for at least six months. Preferably around the same age. I am a single full time worker at a CBD hotel which can turn into some pretty crazy double shifts. I'm a pretty easy going chick but like to have my own space at times. I have a lot of my own furniture and appliances and would be looking to bring most of it along. Lastly, I'm looking to make a friend out of my housemate so someone who has similar interests and would be open to hanging out every now and then and share a couple meals whilst watching some trashy tv.
Hey I'm Shaz, an international student at Griffith Uni. I'm going away on summer holidays at the end of November for 3 months so I will likely be leaving my current accommodation. Looking for a new place for when I come back to Brisbane, 6 months stay and I could extend if I like it. Would love to be able to find nice, friendly and reliable people to team up with to find a good share house, or rent an available room. I would prefer a private room. Very clean, I keep to myself but would love to live with sociable people. I love a chilled night-in watching my favorite movies and tv shows, and I cook. Love going to the beach, planning fun activities, and group hangouts. Message me if you're interested in becoming share-house buddies!
Hello, everyone! I am a 32 years old Brazilian studying International Trade and currently working at a Mantra hotel. I am preferably looking for a private room with easy access to the city, as I study on Adelaide St. I am a very quiet and tidy person, that likes to cook my own meals, listen to music and read. :) Please, be in touch if you think you can help me. Thanks!
Hi, My name is Louise Starkey. I am a 24-year-old professional, who is looking for a warm and wonderful place to live. I have recently relocated back to Brisbane for work and would love to find a place as soon as possible. I am a fun, happy-go-lucky kind of person, who also enjoys a glass of white at the end of a long hard day. I am social, respectable, easy to live with and clean! :-)
I am 25, employed full time and come with my dog, Jasper the Border Collie. I enjoy a good wine and cheese night but am good at keeping to myself when needed. I would say I am considerate, I like tidy communal areas and I am a terrible cook. Jasper enjoys chatting up the ladies, grooming himself and chasing tennis balls. He is an outside pet but somehow makes his way into my room at night. We are happy to live anywhere fully fenced, pet friendly and within a 20 minute commute to the city.
I'm a really easy going guy. I'm independent, I like to be sociable with the people I live with but I definitely have my own life & friends so I'm not always hanging around the house. I do enjoy a couple of drinks & going out on weekends but I've definitely mellowed in my 30's so the party till dawn days are behind me for sure. I ride motorbikes & like to spend my weekends doing that in the daylight & then a few drinks out with friends once the sun goes down. I'm single, so it'll generally just be me using the hot water & electricity... Anything else, feel free to msg me & ask away!
Recent grad, now working full time, introvert, nerd and looking to move somewhere near Woolloongabba/Coorparoo/Greenslopes, though I'm pretty relaxed on the location depending on the distance to work. Other than that, I'm super chill, don't mind the socialising around the house and won't be having any house parties. I also enjoy watching the EPL, bundesliga and liga BBVA.
I work as a leading hair stylist for my best friends thriving growing salon. I'm a busy, enthusiastic and outgoing person with a beautiful big rottie named king. I walk him and excercise daily and love a bit of piece and quiet in the evenings. I am social on weekends but work and my dog is a priority. He is house trained and a pleasure to have around the home. He will become you best bud! I am tidy and will always clean up after myself so hit me up if we could be suitable for your place!

If you have a place or want to share, please reach out! Thanks!

I'm a very relaxed person and most of the time prefer to stay home and watch tv rather than going out partying every night. I will be studying Paramedicine and Nursing at QUT next year and I have a job so I won't be in your hair too much. However I love cooking and am happy to make communal dinners/breakfasts every so often and the house will usually be stocked with baked desserts.
Hey! I'm a young professional working full-time in the city and finishing my Masters at UQ part time. I'm super easy to get along with, and although I appreciate personal space (and am usually quite busy with work/study) I'm always down for some wine, cheese and a good chat :) I'm not a party animal but can enjoy a Friday after-work drink. I'm single but not big in the dating scene at the moment, just focussing on work and study. I have a few inspections this weekend so am keen to meet someone who is interested to come along and view. My budget for rent is about $200-$300, so am looking for a newish apartment in a nice area (aka walking distance to good coffee!) Happy for you to text me to meet up for a coffee if you think we could be good housemates! Goodluck with your house-hunt, Sarah
