Hi, we're Jess and Callum! I (Jess) am a mechanical engineer moving back to Brisbane after 3 years in Melbourne. I will be moving up early March to start my new job. My partner Callum will be moving around June and is a business/marketing student transferring to QUT mid year. We are looking for 1-2 person house with a spare room for us, or 1-2 people looking to team up and find a place. You would be living with me initally, but both of us long term. We are both clean, easy going, outdoorsy people who like cooking, board games with friends, rock climbing and surfing- and are always keen to bring our housemate on adventures. I would love a pet friendly house, as I will very much miss my current housemates two cats and would love some new furry friends!
Hello there! My name is Steve and I am moving from Rockhampton (Central Queensland) to Brisbane at the start of March. I'm Currently an apprentice chef looking for kitchen work while I pursue my dream of becoming a stand up comedian. To tell you a little about myself as a potential room mate: I do smoke, but if that's not something you're ok with, I'm more than happy to not do it at the property. I enjoy a drink or two after work, but vary rarely do I get drunk. I don't take any drugs. I'm a friendly, polite and quirky guy, who gets along with the vast majority of people I meet. I hold self-sufficiency in high regard, I detest moochers and refuse to mooch off of others. I ride a motorbike, but it's not very loud. If you wish to know more, feel free to message me, I look forward to meeting some great people!
Responsible married couple in our 40's - mature yet young in spirit - kind, courteous, respectful and considerate of others. We're quiet, very tidy and clean. We get along well with all people, all ages and we're very easy to get along with too. Also, if you have pets, we will be an excellent fit, as although we don't have any of our own, we LOVE dogs and cats. Kind regards, Tobie and Des

My name is Tara, I’m kiwi & been here 6months & I work full time in the city as a hair stylist & my partner Kiko is also kiwi been here almost two years working full time as a car refinishing Specialist currently doing fifo work (fly in fly out to Sydney) so he won’t be home often. -We are both very friendly, easy going, always pay bills on time & clean up after ourselves as we like to keep the home tidy. Always up for a good laugh & being social with the flatties for dinner, movie or the odd vino/beer. We also enjoy our down time to relax, recharge & have a good Netflix & chill binge & respect others time to do so as well. -My main interest is finding a place with a pool to cope in this heat & Gym. if you have an ensuite even better. -We 100% need a secure car park space for my partners beloved car while he’s away weeks on end doing fifo work. -If your interested I would love to hear from you by text message or email so I can view your link & keep track of each listing easier. -(no phone calls pretty please & sorry as I never have time to answer them or call people back) I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks Tara & Kiko :)
Hey! I'm Harry. Looking to find somewhere for around late Feb - but my dates aren't definite & I can be flexible here. So about myself ; I work full time in community services, usually with one night a week on another side-job - so, I'm often out of the house. Don't smoke (but fine if you do). Fine with looking after living spaces / sharing jobs around the house. Not much of a cook but do *try* sometimes. Interests are foreign languages, reading, and film (anything here - documentaries, arthouse, trash-horror, foreign), and so it'd be great to find somewhere that this is a common interest. Definitely an introverted personality who values my own personal space, but can also be sociable, and would like a place that could have a social atmosphere from time to time. Also ; really need either off-street parking, or *available* street parking. Anyway - message if interested!
Hey there potential housemates :) I'm currently looking for a room, or to team up, with likeminded people. I'm 26 (turning 27 in a couple of weeks), working at JB Hi-Fi in sales, and studying my full real estate license with the intention of making a move into the real estate industry. I actually have a trial period at an agency beginning on 14 February. If I'm successful then I'll be employed full time in real estate! Anyway, a bit about me - outside of work I enjoy playing indoor football/futsal, I've been trying to get into a consistent habit of going to the gym and eating healthily, I love playing with my dog and taking her to the beach/for a walk (she won't be coming with me though), and exploring Brisbane of a weekend. I think a living environment where you sometimes make food and eat with your housemates, can have open minded chats about anything, and occasionally do things together on a weekend makes for a great experience and atmosphere. But I do also understand that everyone has their own busy lives and commitments. If you have any more questions or would be interested in discussing anything, please feel free to drop me a message :)
I'm currently living on the Sunny coast and looking to move back to Brisbane, and share a place for 6-12 months initially. I'm into healthy living, fitness, mindfulness and thinking of ways to improve the world. I'm a software developer, and often work from home. I'm into the outdoors, hiking, running, cycling, as well as the indoors; watching Netflix, listening to music, gaming and cooking awesome vegan food. I can be quite social, enjoy a good convo, but also like my own space to chill out at times. I'm interested in teaming up with someone like minded, with 1 or 2 flatmates tops. Not interested in a party house, but having friends over occasionally is cool with me.
Hi! I am a biologist moving to brisbane with my husband, Juan, who is doing a Doctorate at QUT. He will spend most time at QUT and I will find a job, hopefully. We are a silent couple who likes to enjoy an evening coffee, very clean, organized and easy-going. We like to celebrate special events with a casual drink, less than one per month. We are very respectful and avoid to waste water and energy. We are looking for a place near restaurants or shops, well localized near a bus station, trains, to make our day easier. We also like to exercise outside the house but if your apartment has a gym, it is even better.
Hey Sasha here. I'm an easy going guy looking to team up for a rental preferably in the general kangaroo Point, Woolloongabba, Coorparoo area. I work full time in the city and am very active outside of that so usual up fairly early or home late. Would consider myself as a tidy type of person who respects other people's space but am also quite social and always down for a chat or a drink here and there. Ideally looking for like minded people who I'd get along with easily. Only requirement property wise is undercover parking. Thanks!
Heyy :) I'm looking for a breezy housemate to move in with somewhere around west end/paddington.. I'm real kicked back, I love to cook up a meal, listen to quality music and enjoy a drink. i work full time in hospitality and nanny every fortnight so I'm pretty busy most of the week. I'm european so I keep the house nice and cleeean so would love someone who can just pick up after themselves. Keen on someone who loves the arts and has a good heart :D <3 hit us up
21 year old male Real Estate Agent. I live an active lifestyle when I'm not working. I typically work 9-5 Monday-Friday. Enjoy being social but not a massive party animal. Looking for similar people who are clean, social but professional. I Would prefer an unfurnished room.
Hi! I'm Cristian, a 28 year old Argentinian living in Brisbane for the last 2 years. I'm working remotely as a Software Developer at AIME, a non-profit organisation which does a mentoring program between uni students and indigenous children in Australia. I'm also studying in South Bank two nights per week. On the weekends, you can find me around the coast looking for waves or sleeping in our van with my partner, who lives in NNSW at the moment. You can count on me for BBQ's, Asados, or even just a yarn to talk life, surf, nature, sustainability and maybe more surf? Let me know if you have a space, or even if you would like to share a coffee, I'm also up for that!
Hey there I'm Stephmo. First thing's first; I'm not looking to move right away. I'm currently renting my own place and my lease is up in June. I'm spending way too much money on rent and I'd really like to find a housemate family! So I know this is REALLY EARLY to post this ad, but there's a chance I could move in April f I can find someone to take over my current lease. About me: I'm a queer non-binary person. No homophobia, anti-feminism, racism etc. thanks! I'm an adult who is pretty good at adulting, even though it's hard. I've rented on my own for a couple of years now so I can do the things, pay the bills, keep the cleans, you know the deal. I'm looking for housemates who are responsible enough to do this without being hassled, cos ain't nobody got time for that. I currently have all house furniture and basic appliances. I have a 5yo dog, Jedda. She was a rescue dog and has issues socialising with other dogs/animals, so my housemates are ideally dog lovers cos she's real cute and wants friends. She can't be around cats, but I am open to introducing her to some dogs provided they are not aggressive in any way. Jedda sleeps and hangs out inside when I'm home, but needs a secure backyard for when I'm out. She is the cuddliest, sweetest thing with humans. She'll be your best snuggle buddy ever. I'm super clean and tidy and want to live with people who prioritise this in the communal areas. I will remain 100% responsible for dog related things, aside from the aforementioned Jedda cuddles which are available 24/7. I do enjoy my own space at times but also keen for making real friendships with housemates who enjoy chats and an occasional drink/meal together! I enjoy the odd beer, wine or rum, but definitely not a party animal. Also a musical person, I play keys and sing and would love to hang with muso's. I do a lot of cooking so a nice big kitchen is important to me. I have recently built myself a small campervan which is also my every day car, so ideally an off-street car park would be great if possible. I work full time with early starts (6am) so I'm in bed pretty early during the week. I'll need to be somewhere that isn't noisy in the evenings (not a party house). I have a partner and we hang out on weekends, usually staying at each others' places one night on the weekends. I like going to the markets for fresh fruit and veg, being conscious of where my dollar goes and minimalist with my stuff. I'm environmentally conscious so an eco-friendly household would be awesome. I really hope to find people that fit. I'm always aiming to be a better human wherever possible! I'm keen on team ups as well, cos finding a new place together could be pretty rad. Again, I know this is really early to post but I figure there might be people out there like me just surfing the waves to see what's out there! I'd really like to meet and hang out with potential future housemates before moving in together anyway so hey, we got time! :)
I'm a 22 year old student of Law & International Relations at Griffith. I'm coming into my fourth year of university, so looking for a nice place with sound housemates, on the south side of Brisbane. I'd like a place where I'm mates with the people I live with - I'm sociable, enjoy group dinners & drinks, and having a chat. Also super respectful of boundaries and relatively quiet during the week. My interests include travel, reading, eating, cooking, day tripping and sunshine pints.
Starting a new job as a graduate engineer full-time in February. I am an easygoing guy, fairly clean and I generally keep to myself and respect others living spaces. I would say I'm introverted for the most part but I am also very sociable. Looking for similar roommates who like to take it easy for a relaxed living situation. Flexible with the suburbs I've listed - anything 20-40 mins from South Brisbane is considerable too.
We are a social and active couple from Colombia and Germany. Both of us will start to do our Masters at the UQ Michael in February 2019 and I will start 6 months later. We like to cook, are clean, non-smokers and love outdoor activities like hiking or just chilling at the beach. We would like a social house with group activities from time to time and have no problems with pets. We would love to hear from you in case you have a free room close to the UQ. Thank you in advance
I currently work full time as a marine biologist. In my free time, I can be found outdoors looking for another mountain to hike, another river/cove to swim in and or poking around at a farmer's market ( doing my best not to buy too many pineapples or cherries). Occasionally enjoy a good camping trip and multi-day hikes I love baking various shortbread varieties , dog biscuits on demand (if you have a pet dog, you're in luck) and generally enjoy meaningful conversations with friends or watching documentaries on netflix. I'm a tidy person who likes to keep shared spaces clean and certainly hope you do too (:
I am a 22-year-old student from the Czech Republic, currently studying at QUT, Gardens Point Architecture and Building Engineering. I also work as a waitress at a small Italian place near to Mount Gravatt. I love animals, especially the one you can cuddle - cats and dogs, since I am also a proud owner of a beautiful cat in the Czech Republic (my mum is taking care of her currently). I would love to meet some new friends that I could also hang out with. I don't like buses, so I prefer locations with close access to ferry or train, because I don't like to be stuck in traffic each morning I go to uni.
Hello! We are two sisters from Finland, I will be studying in QUT and my sister will be starting her working holiday. I am looking for something more long term and she requires bit flexibility since her plans are more open. If you have a flat where we both could fit, great, please send that dm! Ideally we'd have our own rooms but we are flexible. We are looking for places that are furnished. We both are considerate, respectful and clean, we love our privacy but don't mind hanging out and getting to know new people in our new home town.
Hey! I study graphic design (will be graduating at the end of the year) and work part time as a barista. I'm a super clean, tidy, and self contained person who mostly keeps to themselves but am always down to have a chat and a drink!
Philip is my name and I am a 33 year old professional that works in the veterinary industry. I have lived in share accommodation for most of my adult life in a number of different countries. I am tidy, respectful and courteous. I am a social person however do appreciate my own space and am respectful of others. I do have a 2yr old rescue dog, Daisy who is completely house trained. She is well behaved and likes to chill and get pats. I feel having worked in the veterinary industry for the past 15 years means I can confidently say that she is one of the top 5 dogs of all time! In my spare time I like to go on little adventures with Daisy to the beach or on gentle walks, preparing healthy meals and going to see live music with friends. I also like to spend time out in the garden and come with a few small potted plants. If you have a dog friendly place and think Daisy and I could fit in please let me know :)
