Hi everyone! I’m a 32-year-old PhD student from Italy, and I’m moving to Townsville for a 5/6-month research internship at AIMS (Australian Institute of Marine Science), starting from the beginning of August 2026.

I am looking for a room in a shared house, preferably with other students or young professionals. I have plenty of experience living in shared accommodations, I am clean, respectful of personal space, and reliable with bills. I’m social and always down for a chat, a shared meal or exploring the area together, but I also appreciate my quiet time every now and then.
