Hi! I’m Karan, a 28-year-old doctor looking for short-term accommodation in Newcastle while completing a clinical observership at John Hunter Hospital.

I’m looking for a furnished private room from 4 October to 17 October 2026 (approximately 2 weeks), ideally within easy access of John Hunter Hospital by walking or public transport.

Budget: Around $200 per week
Stay: 4–17 October 2026
Looking for: Furnished private room
Preferred areas: New Lambton Heights, New Lambton, Lambton, Wallsend, Jesmond, Waratah or other areas with convenient access to John Hunter Hospital.

I’m clean, quiet and respectful of other people’s space. I’ll mainly be at the hospital during the day and am looking for a comfortable place to stay for the duration of my observership.

I’m happy with a shared bathroom and shared kitchen/common areas. Wi-Fi and bills included would be preferred, but I’m flexible.
