Hi, I'm Sarah — relocating to Perth and after an easy-going housemate to team up with as co-tenants and find a rental together. No place yet — we'd look as a pair, and combining our incomes means a better home than either of us could get alone.

Who I'm after: a respectful, tidy single professional, happy to share with a part-time family and two friendly dogs. FIFO or often-away would suit especially well.

What's on offer: the master bedroom with your own ensuite, plus — if we find a place with a second living area — that space as your own private retreat.

A bit about me: former bank manager, returning to work once settled in Perth, tidy and easy to live with. It'd be me and three kids part-time (they're with their dad the rest of the time), plus my eldest, home occasionally from boarding school. The three with me: my 13-year-old daughter, quiet and considerate, and my two sport-mad boys, 12 and 7.

Upfront: it's a family home, so when the kids are here there's the normal bustle — kids are kids. Shared spaces stay clean and everyone's respectful, but no tiptoeing around like a mouse either. I'm after an honest fit, not eggshells.

Two small dogs too — extremely friendly, used to big dogs, little dogs and cats; they love everyone. Got a dog yourself? Completely fine — if they get on at a meet and greet, yours is as welcome as ours.
