PhD candidate on scholarship at JCU until late 2024. I am at the university 5 days a week 9-5 and am a quiet person when home. Typically spend 4-8 weeks a year away in on fieldwork.

Looking for a reasonable size room or granny flat on the northern side of Cairns or in the beaches. Somewhere quiet and private preferable. I have a record player and would love to be able to fit a cupboard with that in the room - don’t worry I don’t play it loud!

I am a friendly but fairly private person who prefers to socialise with friends outside rather than at home. I would like a clean and respectful home, free of racism, sexism and any form of bigotry or discrimination. I’m a non-smoker, non-drug user, and very rarely drink.

I mainly unwind by being outdoors, reading or listening to records (don’t worry I have headphones or play them quietly).
