It is on the ridge of a mountain in a quiet rural part of the Lockyer Valley ..... and so refreshing to arrive home after a days work. Our home is centrally and very conveniently located:-

My modern Home - "Dackandra"

It is an architect designed 2 storey old Queenslander heritage style home... with verandah decks on all 4 sides. The home is being shared with workers. The senior male owner enjoys his semi-retirement and lives independently upstairs. He is frequently away on business.

Wildlife

You can enjoy not only some magnificent panoramic views of the Lockyer Valley, but also the wildlife. Birds & wallabies are abundant while sightings of koalas have been reported.

The downstairs " Granny Flat" area

This recently renovated part of the home, can accommodate up to 3 people...... There is a large open area with a table tennis setup.

...The Queen Bedroom - $215 for single - $150 ea/wk for a couple.
...The Twin Room- This large room has 2 single beds, $195 ea/wk
ideal if you want a spacious B/R - 2 single workers or a couple.

There is a private lockable bedroom upstairs available, with shared toilet & wash basin.
This facility is for 1 person and living is mainly downstairs.
Bathroom & Kitchenette is downstairs, together with TV/lounge,
Bar-B-Que, common area & other facilities as mentioned elsewhere.

It is equipped with lots of cooking utensils, cutlery/crockery and the Bar-B-Que grill under the deck is great when friends arrive.

If you have a mountain bike, there are tracks built ready for fun.
