As well as having large room for your own space there is ample shared living space; a huge lounge room, a rec room, and shelterd court yard and BBQ out back. The property is on 2min walk from Highpoint shopping center with easy access to trams and bus routes. It's a quite dead end street with plenty of on street parking if you have a car.
This spacious double story house is right across the street from highpoint and a 5 minute walk from the tramstop. 82 goes to moonee ponds and 58 is about 45mins away from the city in peak traffic. Room is very spacious, there is currently some brand new furniture (less than 6 months) in there which our previous housemate is keen to sell, otherwise we can empty the room for you. There is a balcony that is all yours, no one else uses it. It would be much faster for you to walk to highpoint than to drive and try to find parking. I've tried many times to beat the system, 10 times out of 10 i have lost. Youre more than welcome to come over and test that theory for yourself. Haha

About the house… The house is a light-filled, three bedroom home with high ceilings, floorboards throughout and a large backyard. The kitchen and lounge room are open plan, with gas heating in the lounge room. The bathroom (including toilet) and laundry are combined at the rear of the house. The house is fully furnished with all amenities, including a dishwasher. There is one car spot in the driveway and plenty of street parking. The house is in a great location, close to Mt Alexander Rd, supermarkets, gyms and cafes. Essendon Station is only a 5 minute walk away (from door to platform) and trams and buses are easily accessible from Mt Rd. About the room… The bedroom is medium sized and easily fits a queen bed, bedside tables, wardrobe etc. Unfortunately, the room does not have built in wardrobes. Bills and expenses… Rent is paid in the 14th of each month. Bills are split evenly 3 ways between us. Unlimited Internet is $20 monthly
This is a newly built 5 bedroom house in a newly developed area. All houses in the area are new. The area has it's own park. Great for walking and cycling. There is ample of off street parking, this shouldn't be a problem. Great neighbourhood. Big room (size around 3.2×3.5) has it's own wardrobe and shared bathroom. Bathroom and toilet has it's own separate room, only the tenant will be sharing the bathroom and toilet as we have our own ensuit. Room is fully furnished and everything in it are brand new. We have a one room available in our big massive house.....Three of our current housemates are moving out. Wooooohoooooo over a couple and cry baby over one in saying that here is the house details..... The first room, which is the smallest of them all is currently going at $110.00 per week. This is the smallest room in the house and only suitable for a single person. Its a nice tiny room which will fit a double bed. No wardrobe but still enough room for a shift around clothes hanger, and a tallboy drawer. Move in costs: 393 (Bond)+ 440 (Monthly rent)= $833 The bathroom will be shared with three housemates. Kitchen is a reasonable size as well and will be shared with four housemates. A dining area, which has had some awesome nights of entertainment and it leads in to the main living room, with a TV that has fallen victim to Mario Karts, and a fire place. Kitchen utensils are made available for all to use. All into music, so must be ok with music being played and one of the guys is in a band. The bond is $393 and you would need to pay one month in advance. Depending on which room you take this will determine the total you would need to pay on the day you move in. The lease is on a month by month basis and you would be on a sublease. Full time workers preferred. We are a young household - please note we are a sociable bunch in the weekends, so rest assured we like to have a few quiet ones, we are not a party house. Majority of us have 9 to 5 jobs with one who does graveyards only. We can consider students but we like to make a bit of noise every now and then and that noise would most likely disrupt your studies. Expenses are not included in the rent rent. Wifi is available and is extra. All facilities in the main house are communal, respect for the products is a must because it is owned by people in the house. Please be aware that we have two cats in the house. One stays on her side and does the occasional visit, we have one in the main house. You need to be aware that the cats are very well trained.....just know that this is there house as well and you may get a little visitor entering your humble abode. No tolerance for harming the cats or next doors animals. Not looking at more cats in the house, definitely no dogs. (which is a bummer for me) Easy access to transport, coles just up the road. My partner and I have a room available in our fully furnished home in Essendon West. The room available is a large room, which contains a queen size bed, a mattress and built in robes. The main television is a smart tv, and therefore has access to Netflix, Stan etc. We also have Foxtel - Entertainment and Sports Package. There is ducted heating and a reverse cycle air conditioner. The kitchen is fully contained, it has three fridges, a walk in pantry, microwave, gas stove top and conventional oven. The laundry is equipped with a two large washing machines, and a number of drying racks. There is a small courtyard with clothes line. There is a bus stop on Buckley street, which is just a short walk away. Rent is to be paid on time and in advance each month, paid to myself no later then the 12th day of each month. Bills are not included in the rent and are to be paid to me 3 days prior to due date. Bills are split between all, Water, Electricity and Gas each quarter. Tank, my aussie bulldog dog also resides at the property and spends time both indoors and outdoors. We also have a cat who is an indoors cat, and ventures out to the courtyard only.
