Very comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom double-storey brick home in the heart of Port Melbourne. We have a heap of living space downstairs complete with a large living room, 46" telly and some very comfortable leather couches. The house was built in the '80s and is a private rental at the top of a dead end street, making for a quiet and cruisy place to live. The kitchen is also another large functional area, which has a gas stove, electric oven and all of the core necessities, so if you like your cooking like we do, you'll fit right in. Outside we have a veggie patch out the back and one at the front from which herbs and salads are seasonally available. You'll also find a highly productive lemon tree and an apricot tree. There is a bit of a gardening culture in the street which is useful when there is a weeding job to be done, and it usually turns into a pretty fun arvo with the neighbours. The house is nice and close to the South Melbourne market which offers sensational food. There are multiple Gyms, RBT and F45 within 2 a minute walk from the house. To get into the city it is a 15 minute tram ride, and a short walk down Bay St to the beach. You'll also find a great bakery which specialises in sourdoughs and some seriously tasty coffee just around the corner. Three permit parking spaces are available at $75 for the year. My apartment is such a bright, cozy and lovely place. I'm sure you'll love it by the time you step your foot in. Most people does :) The bedroom will have stunning view of Melbourne CBD (including Eureka Tower) from the room's floor-to-ceiling window as well as the living room. During New Year's eve, you can view fireworks, so you don't even have to go anywhere if you don't feel like mingle with the crowd. It also uses space well, stays cool in summer and stays warm in winter. From here, there is a big view of the city skyline and you can easily step out to the long balcony to enjoy more. There is a big smart TV in the living room, blu-ray DVD player and access to music available for use. The Kitchen is an adjacent fully-equipped kitchen including hot water boiler, microwave, stove and dishwasher.
