$16 Uber home from town, close to the beach, Coles, Micky D’s and a decent chip shop up the road and a couple different bus options only a short walk away. We have internet (mostly used for Netflix) bbq, house cleaner every fortnight ( $25 each ) air conditioning/heating and a swim spa! Who else has one of those!? There are currently three girls and a Jack Russel living here. We’re fairly quiet during the week and usually go out to socialise rather than bring it here but we’re not opposed to the odd bevvy and a chat now and then. Would prefer someone that has houseshared before but generally just a respectful, courteous person.
I'm currently renting out a room in my cute little cottage in Rosewater. It's a 5 minute walk to Alberton train station (15-20 minute train ride to the city), 5 minutes from Port Adelaide and close to the beach. There's a bus stop to the CBD 2 min walk from the house. Bills are paid separately and split evenly. The house has 2 king sized bedrooms and 1 smaller bedroom/study. There is a newly renovated kitchen, a shared bathroom, a large backyard and second courtyard, and a big laundry. I'm in the process of furnishing all of the house except for your bedroom and any furniture you'd want to put in the study. I've lived here for a few years, the neighbours are lovely and we like the street! I'm pretty flexible to get someone into the smaller room if we're finding the house too big or wanting to split bills. The room you'd be renting out is huge. There's a double inbuilt wardrobe, an optionally provided dresser, and so (!!!) much room for extra furniture. Possibly even room for your own sofa and chill out space. The rooms are neat and tidy, but is a bit old and tired. However, I like the charm of it and would much prefer the space over a small and modern house. The house has: - updated kitchen (gas appliances) - bosch hot water system - fully furnished lounge room / dining room / kitchen - polished floorboards in living area - daikin split system air con in living areas - ceiling fans for the bedrooms - an outside shed as well as extra undercover area for storage! (for you gym junkies) - washing machine and fridge - a veggie patch for green thumbs The photos are a bit messy because my current roomie is moving out and we're in the middle of switching things around! The bedroom in the photos would be yours (is currently mine), and the blue room is the study. Dogs are negotiable :-) !!
