The townhouse is really close to train and bus as well as shops. There is one bedroom for rent with aircon and an ensuite bathroom. The townhouse is fully furnished but if you'd like to use your own bedroom furniture then the current bedroom furniture could be moved out for you. Unfortunately the owner has requested no pets. It's a 2 bedroom unit in a block of 6 with an interior that looks about 90's (not modern and not really old). Walking distance to Albion train station (less than 10 minutes) and Windsor station (a different train line) is only about 12 min walk (if for some reason one line is not working). Bus stop on Lutwyche road is about 2 min walk. Lutwyche shopping center is about 3 min drive. It has a lockup garage which can be used for some amount of storage but I am afraid the garage is home to my baby so you won't be able to park in there. However there is 95% of the time a spare car space right next to our stairwell. On street parking is always available if for some reason the 4 on site spaces are taken. There is technically a balcony, but not much to see out there. It's certainly had the occasional BBQ, but it's a generally quiet spot if you want to put your feet up and sit in the "fresh" Brisbane air. I have a simple kitchen table and couch (can fold out into a bed if a friend needs to stay over night). I also have a BBQ on the balcony. You will need your own bed and fridge. I have a small personal fridge that isn't big enough for 2 people. I have a small chest freezer that I can make a small amount of space available in if need be. Generally don't see or hear any of the neighbors.

You will be sharing the house with 2 females and one male. All very easy going, friendly, considerate and know how to clean up after themselves. This isn't a party house and is pretty quiet and chilled most of the time but they're always up for a chat. Everyone works different schedules so the house always feels pretty spacious. The house is in Windsor, close to 2 train stations, bus stop at end of street with frequent buses in to town, and only a $10-15 cab ride home from the valley. Plenty of cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and gyms close by. Also super close to a large park. Rent is $160 per week which includes yard maintenaince by the landlord. Bond is $620 and bills get split equally as they come in. As a rough estimate you'll need to budget around $90/mth total for bills (gas, electricity, internet). Fridge is jointly owned - therefore owned portion of the fridge is $77. They're looking for someone easy to live with that can pay their bills on time. No couples or pets sorry :)

Huge place. Three large living rooms and three bedrooms. One of these is a permanent guest room, which gets used about one weekend per month. I've considered this when setting the price. There is a beautiful new kitchen going in by the end of August, so not much cooking happening before that! Also, a deck will be installed in September or October. The bathroom is tired, but functional. The house has lots of art and character, so need someone mature and respectful. The neighbours are lovely and sociable. It is on a busy road, but the room is well back from the street and gets beautiful morning sun. Off street parking is available. I don't have a car and don't need one... everything I need is a short walk or bike ride away (#germanbakery) and bus and train are close by.
