This is an amazing place: you'll fall in love with the location and the million-dollar view from the lounge and balcony. Right in front of the ocean and a stone's throw away from Fairlight beach and pool (best if we don't actually throw stones), only 10 minute walk into Manly (maybe 20 if you're drunk and don't walk off the cliffs). There's a lock-up garage but off-street parking as well. There is one master bedroom and a smaller second bedroom, both with large built-ins. The room is $300pw (I'm willing to negotiate a bit on the rent, depending on your situation and if you're a cool person). The bed and furniture situation is flexible, in case you have your own stuff. The apartment was repainted and recarpeted when I moved in a year ago, so still has a fresh feel. The building itself has direct access to Fairlight beach, with a fantastic jogging route and on the Manly to Spit Bridge walk.
Hey all, The house- I'm need to move out of my current place due to traveling. The house is an older building and is due to be destroyed at the end of July (this is why it's for short stay). The room- it's a huge room that's attached to the sun room at the front of the house. It will be unfurnished but I can leave a wardrobe in the room (it's in good condition and clean). Rent is $250 per week but paid monthly. Bond is $1000, electricity and gas is about $90-$100 a quarter and Internet is $23 a month.

Extremely close to Fairlight Cove and Fairlight Pool (less than 2mins), which is great for snorkeling, swimming or just laying around on the embankment relaxing reading in the sun. If your into walking/running the Manly Scenic Walk path again is a short distance away. If your a lover of dogs, no doubt you will come across them on your trek. They certainly brighten the day up. Our complex occupantants and neighbouring buildings are a friendly bunch. The general lifestyle of the area is contagious!
