Large private townhouse in Sutherland in a quiet area with a stunning view of the river (through some trees). The only noise in the area would be the local population of birds that live just beyond the large back yard. Unfortunately I am leaving to move closer to the city =( Top floor holds the master bedroom (Will's and 9month old furbaby Kratos), second bedroom (Kates), a slightly smaller third bedroom (hopefully yours) , the main bathroom, and the double garage. If you have a car you'll have to park up on the street as the garage is being used. (I park my car on the street and it's super safe, just a little mission of a walk up the steep driveway haha) The room up for grabs is a reasonably good sized bedroom with a built in wardrobe and full length mirrors, large windows with insect guards when you feel like some fresh air. The bed in the photos is a Queen, so if you have something smaller you'd have room for a bedside, tallboy chest of drawers and maybe even an armchair if you arranged the room properly. Shared main bathroom (with Kate, but she is hardly ever home) that has toilet, shower, bathtub and vanity. Bottom floor has huge dining/lounge space, large kitchen, laundry room, storage space under the stairs and another toilet. Bedroom comes unfurnished, so you will need to bring all your own bedroom furniture. We're about a 12 minute walk to the train station (if you don't have a car) and the local shops with Coles being the main supermarket and a small IGA. Short bush track walk down the hill takes you to the Woronora River, where you can sit at the cafe and watch people in their boats or even rent a kayak for yourself! Bills will be split evenly (water, electricity and internet). No Foxtel, but there is Netflix. Sometimes the reception for Free-To-Air television is dodgy, but there's mostly crap on tv anyway. Looking for someone in their late 20's-early 30's, friendly, sociable but not loud and overbearing, and someone who doesn't hide in their room all day. We have a very modern furnished bedroom available in Illawong. The area is a perfect location for public transport, Coles, gym, Doctor's, Dry Cleaner, Hairdresser as well as restaurants all available at your doorstep. The room is ideal for a single person or couple with your own bathroom located across from the bedroom which also has a bath. The bedroom also leads onto a shared balcony. The apartment itself is fully furnished. The bedroom has a TV bracket on the wall if you would like to place your own TV on it. The room also has a Fan installed on the roof to keep you cool during the hot summer temperatures. There is on street parking as well as visitor car spots available on the lower ground which can be purchased for $25 per week. There is a bus stop across the road which will take you to the closest station being Padstow or Sutherland, if you do not have a vehicle. Bills are on top of the rent but we would be splitting them 3 or 4 ways dependant on whether we have a single person or couple living with us. Rent would need to be paid fortnightly.

Our townhouse is located a 10 minute walk from Sutherland station. Express trains to the city only take about 30 minutes, and Cronulla beach is a quick 15 min train ride away. I'm very busy with work and hobbies, so when I'm home I'm usually cooking or relaxing in front of the TV. On the quieter end of the spectrum myself and I like to keep the place tidy. The apartment is fully furnished, but you will just need to furnish the room. The room is 2.8x2.8 (not including the built in wardrobe which is an additional 65cm deep and 1.9m long with shelves, drawers and hanging rods). The complex has 8 spaces in its visitor parking and there are usually free spots. Otherwise, there is always lots of street parking. Bills came to approximately $20-$25 a person per week last year (internet, gas, electricity, water). I have two pet guinea pigs. They live in the laundry and are very cute, friendly, quiet and clean.
