One large upstairs bedroom available in a double story apartment at the rear of the property. There are 2 houses on the property joined via a large laundry room. The property is fully fenced ( 6 foot fences ) with locked gates both at the rear entrance and at the front entrance. A remote gate for car access ( sometime we do have to manual open and close the remote gate when it decides it doesn’t want to work which seems to be a common thing ever now and then living so close to the beach). The back area of the house was used a few years ago as an Airbnb holiday home however for the past few years the area has been opened to make it part of the main house ( the area is still very private due to the size of both houses ). There are 2 good sized double bedrooms upstairs and both rooms share an upstairs bathroom. The bedroom available is the largest of the 2 upstairs bedrooms. There is a huge chief gas cook top and oven. The bbq area is an indoor out door room. The bbq has a gas cook plate top, 2 main grilling plates along with an additional large cook plate for roasting dinners. The bbq area is fitted out with table chairs and lounging chairs and is a fantastic area to relax in privately, a get together for a social meal, or on rare occasions entertaining family and friends. Both the front and rear yards offer privacy and excellent security. This accomodation is perfect for anyone who likes room to move and heaps of privacy. The entire property offers heaps of quiet places for down time and relaxing. The bbq bistro entertainment area has always been the one area on the property where all house mates can come together and socials. The house is located in a prime location. I have a room available in a lovely house that is 170m from the beach! I work from home and am looking to rent out my spare room to another female. Ideally, you will be working or studying outside the house (not online study), a definite non-smoker and not have any pets. You will have your own private room, your own bathroom (the one in the photos) and a car space in the lock-up garage if you have a car. The house is 150m from the train station, has floorboards throughout and reverse cycle air-conditioning / heating in each room. There are built in robes in your room and there's a reasonable sized balcony to sit outside too. The room can be furnished with a bed and bedside table if you want, or you can bring your own furniture. I'm open to you bringing a fridge / washing machine / couch / table if you have them too. I'm flexible with how long you stay, preferably for a minimum of two weeks and a maximum of 10 to 12 months. 4 weeks bond will be required ($1000) and rent can be paid every fortnight ($500) or monthly ($1000) in advance. Bills will be in addition to the rent amount and will be split evenly if you stay longer than 3 months, or charged on a weekly basis if you stay short term.
