The house is a lovely, Victorian terrace house in North Carlton with a renovated kitchen and bathroom and reverse cycle air-conditioning in the lounge/kitchen - it's the perfect mix of old world charm and contemporary living! The room that is up for grabs is large (about 3.5 x 4.5m), has high ceilings, carpeted floor and a large wardrobe. The room available is the middle room and the window gets plenty of natural light. We are situated on a quiet, leafy street, in a great suburb. There is plenty of storage space and you will be sharing the bathroom with only one other flatmate (girl), as the third bedroom has its own bathroom. There's a courtyard that gets a bit of sun and leads onto a garage used for storage. It's just a 3 minute walk to Nicholson street and the 96 tram or 7 minute walk to Lygon street's number 1 and 6 trams, its a quick trip to the CBD. The house is also a short stroll to Rathdowne village and it's numerous cafes and restaurants, and to beautiful Princes Park and Edinburgh gardens. Essentially, we're looking for one person to move into the vacant room. As there will be 3 of us the rent will be $230 each/week which should be $996.6 /month and the bond is simply 1 month’s rent. My housemate Anthony any myself are looking for a new housemate now that we our friend has left us for New York! The house is situated in leafy Carlton North within a stones throw from The Great Northern and many lovely cafe's. The bathroom is newly renovated, the common areas kept tidy and has a more than generous outdoor area where we spend most our times during the summer with friends. The kitchen is moderately sized and more than caters for our needs. All in all we love sharing a glass of wine together when we can, chatting and socializing but also respect each others space!
