It's bright and airy and clean. Lots of space and a lovely view over the neighbourhood, a balcony and it's quiet. Your bedroom has wooden floors, built-ins, a sunset view, flyscreens, big window, and a few hooks on the wall for your pictures :-) I do have a young cat (he's 6 months old) - he is still quite shy but very gentle and purry once he gets to know you - also very well behaved and clean!
Our place is fantastic if you are going to go to Monash Uni, it is just a 15 minute walk to the Caulfield Campus. It is a spacious house with a large living room and dining area. There are lots of restaurants and cafes just a short walk away. The house is very low maintenance so it doesn't take a lot of work to keep it clean and tidy. The room you would move into is large and includes an ensuite and a walk in wardrobe, it is $250 excl. bills. Our place a townhouse on a quiet block with friendly neighbours. The house has intercom security, gas ducted heating and air conditioning. We have fully furnished the house, but will need to get a few items when our other housemate moves out. The house is in a quiet street close to public transport - bus #623 to St Kilda & #64 tram to CBD are about 5 minutes walk away, Caulfield & Malvern train stations are about 15 minutes walk away - and shops including post office, chemist, cafes, restaurants & milk bars are 5-8 minutes away depending which you need. #3 & #16 trams are also 8 minutes walk away. There are large front & back yards, plenty of parking space and 2 garages although they are used for storage rather than car parking. The available room is 3.9m x 3.3m (pictured but will be unfurnished) and comes with a free standing wardrobe if wanted. The kitchen/dining area (pictured with funky wallpaper & 50s vibe) and lounge (pictured) are at opposite ends of the house, there are polished floorboards throughout and there is ducted gas heating for Winter and a wall air-con in the kitchen for the Summer. Netflix is connected as is Foxtel. We have a laundry with a washing machine and dryer although there is an old-style washing line in the backyard that's great in Summer (pictured). My luxury home has a lovely, warm, feel that you notice when you walk in. I love that it's a double story townhouse that gets lots of natural light. The place is fully furnished and has all the kitchen appliances you'll need plus some more, including a dishwasher. The kitchen is modern with an open plan eating area and a combined living room. There is a separate lounge area as well. My home is fully air-conditioned and centrally heated. There are also split systems in very room so you can control the temperature in your bedroom.
