Hi there! I have a spare bedroom available in a two-bedroom detached house in the quiet Southside suburb of Clarinda, between Clayton and Oakleigh. Very close to Chadstone Shopping Centre, Springvale Homemaker Centre, the M1 freeway, various parks and Monash Uni. Bedroom is not furnished however has a spare tallboy and large built in wardrobe, stays relatively cool in the summer and shaded by a lovely weeping willow tree. The rest of my house is fully furnished and has ducted indoor air conditioning and heating. You are more than welcome to use my big tv and use all my kitchen stuffs. My place is relatively low maintenance, just needs to be vacuumed once a week and the small bit of grass just needs a mow every now and then. Any bills and chores will be split evenly 50/50. Our neighbours are all very friendly and relatively quiet, the street itself is nice and peaceful and there is a dog park a few steps away!

We have a beautiful three bedroom unit in Clayton located on a quiet street 5 minutes walk from the train station and Monash Medical Centre and maybe 10 minutes walk to the shops. (Nearest pizza place is a four minute walk- these are the things you need to know tbh) The unit was recently renovated and has whitewashed walls, polished floor boards, reverse cycle air conditioner and gas heating. There also is off-street parking behind the house. Your room is the master bedroom and has a big window with lots of natural light and will be available from the 26th of May. It's unfurnished aside from a cabinet that belongs to the landlord, so if you need more storage, you can keep it or we'll return it, they're cool af and sometimes even give us free veggies from their garden. Rent is $170 a week including internet and bills are split evenly. The house is mostly furnished and has a comfy couch and a gas heater to be nice and toasty in the winter time! Rent is paid every month ($670 per person including wifi. We have a front and backyard filled with fruit and nut trees so we pretty much get freebie fruits on the lawn all year round. Also our neighbours cat often comes up to the washing line to hang out so that's a cool bonus too. We're looking for a friendly and considerate housemate who cleans up after themselves and is respectful of personal space and conscious of noise in a quiet home but is also up for a chat over dinner and a good Netflix binge!
