We have an unfurnished double room up for grabs in our fantastic Fairlight/Manly abode. The room itself comes with a built in wardrobe and an amazing view of Sydney harbour. The house has everything you need such as a kitchen, bathroom (shared with one other) and internet. I’d like to say that it’s fully furnished but it could use a nice Persian rug or two. We don’t have a TV but there is a projector for watching movies or sport. You could watch the Kardashians on there too but the view is that good from the lounge that you’d probably just end up staring out the window. There is a single garage but there are 2 cars that fight for it at this stage. More than happy for a three-car stand-off but there is plenty of off-street parking just in case. It’s a 5-minute walk to the ferry and 10 to the main beach. Fairlight shops are just up the road which has everything you need in the way of essentials (coffee, milk, bread, toilet paper, meat etc.).

This beautiful flat is an absolute pleasure to come home to every day. The view of the wharf from the balcony is my favourite thing and makes this place by far the nicest place I've ever lived. It's a 7-10 minute walk to the wharf, shops and busses so it's really convenient. It's also quieter than being right on the sea front of Manly as its a little behind that. It also has a parking space for anyone who needs it. It's a 2 bedroom flat and both rooms are exactly the same size. Both have huge mirrored built in wardrobes. You would need to furnish the rest of the room yourself though as my current flat mate is taking all of his things. There's an lounge area where you could put a tv if you want to bring one and the kitchen is lovely because it has that amazing view too! The bills are included in the rent. In terms of house rules, this is not a party house. I'd like to live with someone similar to me in that I am very relaxed and friendly, but also really like my own space too. I work Monday to Friday and by the time I get home from the gym I'm always ready for a cosy night in :-) Not a party house or a pre drinks house. No smoking.
