Our balcony looks out onto woodlands, not neighbours - though our neighbours are super lovely and there are dinner parties in the community every couple of months. There is a fantastic vegetable garden, converted from a tennis court that is protected from birds and possums. There is also a tennis court and a communal woodfire stone pizza oven plus some playgrounds. The whole area is surrounded by native woodlands and we are a five minute walk from a great bar and cafe at the Cook shops. There is no traffic coming from here into civic in the mornings and we are well located for the bus service and bike paths to Belconnen and Civic. We have a carport space for one vehicle and plenty of non-undercover off-street parking available in the carpark. If you are afraid of birds, don't live here because I adore them and we have a family of magpies that visit and often have Gang gang cockatoos, superb parrots, various honeyeater and thornbills and white wing choughs in the backyard. Right, inside the house we have a large living area, kitchen with a dishwasher and large pantry and electric cooking. The bedroom available cosily fits a queen bed, plus a desk or wardrobe. It has a high ceiling and flyscreens. The room will be unfurnished though the rest of the house is furnished. There is a main bathroom that is shared and a small powder room with a separate toilet in the laundry. There is heaps of storage in the laundry area and a bit under the house. We also have a rear and front courtyard. The upstairs living area has a split system AC/heater and we have a large vinyl collection that I like to regularly spin. I have lived here a year and absolutely love it. We are hoping for a housemate with full time work, non-smoker and friendly! Someone who is keen to be friends. PS.
