About the property
We’re looking for a third housemate to join our 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home in Cook.
The rent for the room is $185 a week plus utilities.
📍The house is in a great spot, about a 10-minute drive or a 30-minute bus ride into the city, with a bus stop just across the road, so commuting is easy.
🐕We have a very important house pup named Teddy, our gentle giant who loves pats, cuddles, walks, and the occasional swim. So if you’re not to keen on dogs it might not be the right fit.
There’s plenty of parking at the house, a big backyard, and a small garden shed that’s handy for bikes or extra storage. The living areas of the house are furnished, but your room will come unfurnished.
The room isn’t huge but is cosy and bright, with space for a double or queen bed and a wardrobe. It gets lovely natural light and has a wall-mounted heater to keep things warm during Canberra winters. You’ll be sharing a bathroom with Lillian, with a separate toilet right next door, plus there’s an extra toilet downstairs in the laundry.
