We have 2 extra bedrooms and are looking to rent out only one. The 3rd will be used for office space and family/friends (on the rare occasion they visit). It is a quiet area and has a garden area, great for BBQs and beers! Another couple live in the flat above us. They are quiet and we don't know them well. There is no smoking in the house and we do not want a roommate who expects parties or frequent sleepovers with randoms! We want someone we can chill and hopefully become friends with! My unit is a large 2 bedroom art deco apartment situated on the top floor of a small block of six units. The unit has been reconfigured to two fully self contained units. I am renting out the back unit which is fully furnished and has its own separate entrance and we do not share this space. It has a small kitchenette, a bathroom with shower (only) and a bedroom with a TV. It also has a small but well defined living space with a two seater couch, kitchen table and chairs. We have a large backyard with gardens, outdoor furniture and is very well situated to the Neutral Bay junction shops and therefore transport. The house comprises of the most amazing view in Neutral bay overlooking the harbour - great for a few drinks and a weekend BBQ. It's hugely spacious with a massive lounge room and seperate big kitchen. We've got access to Foxtel with all the sport channels and Netflix giving anyone plenty to enjoy their downtime. All the bedrooms come with air conditioning and the lounge room has a great gas heater for winter. We have also have a cleaner that comes in every two weeks to do general cleaning of the house, this is included in the rent as well as internet and foxtel. There's an ensuite in the main bedroom, as well as main bathroom with shower and bath and two seperate toilets so no rushes in the morning to get to work.

I've already been living here for 6 months, an couldn't think of moving somewhere else! It's in the best location, 5 min walk from public transport, right off Military Rd (where you can find anything you need!). Top floor, gorgeous view of the city and partial view of the bridge; it's really awesome to see from the balcony at night. The apartment itself is recently renovated and so light-filled, it has an amazing feel. I have some furniture already (couch, microwave, outdoor setting), but once my current roommate moves out, we'll need to get a fridge and a dining table (so if you come with furniture, you are VERY welcome, if not I've been looking at buying some things regardless!)
