Quiet neighbourhood - a great place to wind down after a busy day at work. Really close to the Manuka shops (5/10min walk), I always enjoy going for walk in the morning to grab a coffee. Place is fully furnished so you don’t need to worry about bringing your own stuff. Plus there’s a pool for you to use when summers comes around! May be open to negotiating rent - send me a message if you’re interested 😊
In the leafy suburb of Deakin with cafes, shops and gyms right around the corner. We're only 5 min from Manukah which has a great variety of shops and cafes, and we're also only 10min from the city. Being in the inner south you're at an arm's reach to pretty much everything you need! The house itself is fully furnished and super spacious with a guest bathroom downstairs, a big outdoor entertaining area with outdoor setting and Webber BBQ, ducted vacuum all around the house, reverse cycle air-conditioning and heating, spacious bedrooms upstairs with modern bathrooms. It's great having the bedrooms upstairs so that there is more privacy and quiet, but also more space for hangouts downstairs.
The house is pretty amazing, it feels like it's come off a set of Mad Men, it's a stupidly cool place to live. The house is fully furnished, has cork floors throughout, floor to ceiling windows around the whole back of the house that opens onto an entertaining deck and backyard, the house is filled with light and has beautiful timber panelling throughout. All bedrooms are all queen size, there are 3 bedrooms inside with queen beds, built in cupboards and bedside tables. We have 1 room outside with a private entrance, this room is attached to the house but does not have entry into the house from the room, the outside bedroom has a king bed, chest of drawers a hanging rack and shelves that run down the walls on both sides this room has has full access to the house, its very much private. There room outside is available to move now, all Utilities - Bills Gas, Electricity, Internet, Netflix, Stan $75 per month We have 1 female intern mid 20's, and me in my early 40's wth a 2 year old baby and 1 guy that stays 3 midweek nights a week as he works for Govt, I own a cafe in the city and the baby and I are up early and in bed early, we are looking for another housemate to join our little family Our household is a fun one!, we enjoy each others company, eat family dinners together, giggle a lot and respect each other's space.
I’m going on exchange next semester and am looking for someone to move into my room (pictured) for six months. This would suit someone considering, for example, an exchange in Sem 2 2020. It’s a really nice older house in Deakin (20 mins cycle to campus or a 22 min bus ride to Civic) with fancy inner south vibes (you’ll share a postcode with Parliament and Jenny Morrison will probably drop round the corner from The Lodge with a still-warm batch of her famous scones at some point). If Jenny’s (JenMo’s?) scones don’t provide all the sustenance you need for six months, it’s also just around the corner from Deakin shops, with its IGA and excellent cafés. The room is fantastic, and has a generous floorspan and a huge north-facing window featuring views over our backyard and across to Black Mountain. You’d be joining two great housemates, Adam and Skanda, third and fourth year ANU students who are fun, neat and tidy and always up for a chat. Rent is $197.75 per week (+ utilities/internet) and I’m happy to provide it furnished or unfurnished. I’m reasonably flexible around dates on either end, but am ideally looking for someone able to take over the lease in mid-December and move out in July. Message me if you’re interested!

This flat comes with sorts of advantages. For location, this flat is very close to Canberra centre. It takes only 2-3 mins to get to Canberra centre on foot. Moreover, there are so many restaurants in this area including local restaurants and Chinese restaurants, and Korean restaurants, etc. It is also convenient for ANU students to commute from this flat to ANU by walking for 10 mins. For safety and ambience, the neighbors of this neighborhood are friendly and nice. In addition, there are few noises during night. Therefore, the residents are seldom bothered and disturbed. This is a great opportunity to join an all-female sharehouse in a fantastic location! This single-level house has large living/dining areas filled with natural light, as well as a lovely outdoor patio and garden. The house has recently been substantially renovated, with new kitchen, laundry, flooring and paint throughout. This is a new sharehouse. Three rooms are occupied and one room is still available. We are looking for a young woman who is friendly, respectful, cleanly and a non-smoker. If you're looking for somewhere to call 'home' (not just a room to sleep in) we would love to hear from you! - Bedroom 4: $210 per week (inclusive of utilities and internet) - unfurnished room with open Scandinavian-style wardrobe and large opening skylight. Available from 26th October. Enjoy the certainty and ease of having your own separate lease for the room. This means that if others in the house would like to move out, this doesn't affect your lease at all. You would not be responsible for paying extra rent or utilities, making it secure and easy for you to budget and plan! The house is incredibly close to major bus routes. Walking distance to Ginninderra Lake, the University of Canberra, CISAC and major offices in Belconnen. Only 5 minutes' drive/ bus to Calvary hospital or 15 minutes to the ANU and city. Please send me a message if you are interested in staying here! :)
