The area itself is nice and quiet, multiple parks, cafes and pubs within walking distance. The house has everything you need with space for an extra side table/bookcase or two if you have 'em. I have a communal TV setup with Netflix and Stan for chilled house times after work and such :) The house isn’t huge, but feels like home. The backyard doesn’t look like much at the moment, but I will be spending the next few weekends turning it into a green paradise. Your room is not furnished (no built-in storage either) so you would need to bring your own bedroom furniture. It has venetian blinds and new floors though, fancy! In terms of public transport, buses and light-rail (Rozelle Bay stop) are easy to get to, or, if you're a more active person it only takes 10 mins to cycle into Pyrmont (20 mins to Town Hall) via Anzac Bridge.
