The Bedroom: We have a lovely spacious Master bedroom available in a great sharehouse! The bedroom has a massive built-in mirrored wardrobe that covers an entire wall of the room, and includes adjustable shelving and hanging rails. A large window faces onto the front garden and gets beautiful morning sun. Coming into summer this is the coolest room in the house but also has a good quality ceiling fan as well. The room also has ducted gas heating for the winter! The room is very spacious and the landlords have kindly furnished it with a queen bed (mattress and frame) and two bedside drawers. Bond & Lease: The Bond is 4 weeks rent, and the house is currently on a month to month (periodic) lease with the Landlords. You'll need to sign on to that, and while it is a month to month lease, ideally you'd be looking to stay at least 3months so we don't have to go through listing the room again too soon. The House: 3 bedroom house which is shaded by big trees in the front yard and situated on a quiet leafy street. The house has been foam-insulated and holds the heat in well during winter. It has an energy efficient gas hot water system, reverse cycle air-con in the living room, and a covered carport. The Kitchen: A lovely open plan kitchen with lots of natural light, gas cooking, dishwasher, oven, and modern energy efficient fridge. The laundry is part of the open plan kitchen area and includes a laundry sink and a front-loading washing machine. The Bathroom: We have a shower and best of all, a bath! Yes, throw some lavender oil and Epsom salts in and try not to fall asleep in a state of total relaxation. We have a Rinnai gas-hot water system which is really energy efficient and allows us to preset the water temperature and keep the bills down. The living room: Large and spacious, it has a large couch which is so notoriously comfortable that it begs you to stay up all night watching Netflix on it. Two overhead fans and a reverse air-con ensure that this is the room to be in come summer. The Back Deck of Glory: The highlight of the house in my opinion. It's a good sized covered deck with two hammocks that can be set up and taken down as needed, fairy lights, barbecue, comfy leather couch and small outdoor dining table. It also has two outdoor speakers linked to the radio so you can put triple J on. A few memorable dinner parties have been held on this deck. The Back Yard of Slightly Lesser but Still Notable Glory It's a spacious backyard with two big planter boxes that are currently growing corn and silverbeet, a large garage for storage, and a hills hoist clothesline tucked around the back corner with a massive rosemary bush (for all you culinary wizards out there). Location: Located in Weston about a 10 minute walk to the local Cooleman Court shops which includes a Woolworths and an ALDI's. There is a #25 bus stop about 100metres from the front door which will take you into the Woden bus interchange, and from there, the world! It takes about 50 minutes to Civic by bus, or if you like cycling, there are great bike paths all the way to Civic. If you're a fast cyclist, you can get to lonsdale street in 29minutes (at least that's my record). Bills and Internet: Unlimited high-speed VDSL internet and all bills are split equally 3 ways. This works out to $26.66 per person each month.
