Large bedroom with built in robes as well as your own bathroom. House will be fully furnished, can provide a new king bedroom suite if required, just needs a mattress if you're keen on utilising the furnishings. Please ignore the furnishings in the photos, I haven't moved in yet so these are the real estate pictures. Will post more pictures once I’m in and can arrange those interested to see the place after 10/08.
This unit is in walking distance to the Geelong CBD, and many beautiful peaceful places such as Eastern Beach, and the Botanical Gardens. The unit has two bedrooms. It is a cosy unit, which is bright and homely. Adequate heating and cooling as required.
Looking for a vegetarian or vegan housemate, 24-50, that doesnt drink alcohol or use drugs (more than three times a year), and gets home before 11:00pm most nights. Have to say this first to avoid wasting peoples time. Obviously this is not a loud party house. But I'm not a boring person to live with as much as it might sound that way to some folks. I've partied enough. :) 1 minute walk to The Gordon TAFE. If you like gardening there is plenty of growing space. And help yourself to the vegies I grow. I also make bread and soap which you can help yourself to. The house was renovated not long ago. Floorboards throughout. Two toilets. Washing machine and dishwasher. Air con and heater in lounge. 3 Stage water filter for drinking and cooking. I have two large sets of drawers in needed. Both rooms are 3m x 3.4m. The room with a good view of the backyard is $165 p/w. The room that only has a view of around the side of the house is $155 p/w. It is a month by month lease, short term ok. Photos are from before I moved in, the lounge is now full of furniture and some of my plant growing gear. There wont be any Foxtel or free to air t.v. in the lounge...because I dislike it. :) There will be a large tv in the lounge for movies. I own the house so there wont be a landlord coming over to inspect the place plus I am motivated to improve the house and garden. I keep the place clean though at the moment it is not quite organized as I just moved here recently.
Amazing location. Very large, spacious room (unfurnished), with high ceilings and ornate fireplace. Great, clean, comfortable flat (furnished) with all mods and cons. You'll be sharing with 2 awesome gals both in their early 30's. We work predominantly Mon-Fri and have active lifestyles on the weekends, enjoying the great outdoors and various social outings. It's a friendly house that we consider to be home and hope that you would feel the same. This is NOT a party house! We are quiet and respectful and offer each other plenty of privacy and space as well. There’s ample opportunity for you to have the common spaces of the house all to yourself. We like a tidy and clean home so we have an arrangement that sees the house cleaned frequently and we split the costs there (more time up your sleeve to do what we love and no annoying rosters or uncomfortable confrontations regarding cleanliness). Internet is unlimited and is paid monthly $23.50 each Bills are split 3 ways. We do like a cosy and warm home (ducted heating in all bedrooms and common areas), but the prices are reasonable and you never have to shiver on a winter’s night. Non smokers and no pets. Sorry. You'll be sharing the home with two professionals. One works as a data analyst and is completing her masters in the same area, the other girl studies hospitality management part time and works several hospitality jobs which keep her busy and mostly out and about. Both girls are clean, quiet, respectful and tidy. We are looking for someone to take on the lease, and require a 6 month minuimum stay. However, if you would like to vacate sooner, there's no issue in finding a replacement and swapping over the lease with a month’s notice. The house is ideally located. It’s approx a 10 min walk to both Geelong and South Geelong train stations, bus services, all cafes, restaurants, cinema and shops within central Geelong and approx 15 min walk to Deakin and the waterfront.
I am advertising 3 comfortable rooms in an sweet old house in a great location. It's a relatively quiet spot away from the heart of Geelong but still close to the train station (10 mins walk), shops (short drive) and the buzz of town. The Little Creatures Brewery is only a short stumble home! Deakin University is a 15 minute drive in peak hour. The rooms themselves are quite large all with an offset fireplace so storage can be placed either side - Room 1 4.4m x 3.9m - inbuilt gas heater, 1 large window. Room 2 4.4m x 3.9m - large wardrobe, 2 large windows. Room 3 4.4m x 3.7m - large wardrobe, large drawers, 1 large window. Kitchen is large, roomy and fully kitted out - fridge/freezer, toaster, dining table etc. it even has a woodfire stovetop oven! Lounge has a TV, a leather couch and heater w/ A/C. There is a huge backyard with plenty of room and little plots for those with a green thumb. Unlimited parking out the front of the house. Super fast internet all unlimited so smash Netflix all you want! The pictures don't do it justice as I've only recently moved in myself!
After 160 years, The Iconic has come full circle as a place for students to call home. We invite you to experience this rare and splendid monument to Victoria’s past. This Tudor Gothic building was the original site of Geelong Grammar School. The Governor of Victoria, Sir Henry Barkly, laid its foundation stone in 1857 with the Bishop of Melbourne and the Archdeacon of Geelong in attendance. The student boarder population grew rapidly to call 55 Maud Street their home. After the school relocated to a larger site in 1914, the building was subdivided into a factory and a guesthouse called the Dysart Private Hotel. In 1961, it was again converted into the Reformed Theological College then later a private residence. Fast – forward to 2018: 55 Maud Street had fallen into a state of disrepair , however we had a grander vision for the historic site – once again it would serve as a base for students in the heart of Geelong. Today, The Iconic boasts 28 premium dormitories in a peaceful and gorgeous setting.

Three bedroom house in a quiet neighbourhood in St Albans Park. I live in the master bedroom with ensuite but there is two spare rooms with a main bedroom. No pets but a good size backyard and nice scenery once you step outside. Very clean house so.
This is an eco-friendly, retro-style house; think solar power, water tanks, vegie boxes and many fruit trees! Located in Belmont, it is a short walk to the High Street shops and the bus-stop if needed. Another perk is the close location to the beautiful Barwon River; perfect for walking, running, riding or rowing! This house is located approximately 2.5km from the Geelong CBD so perfect if you're the sort of person who likes to walk or ride to work, etc. There is a cosy wood fire, plenty of vegie boxes out the front and back to grow your own veg if you like. I have two dogs and would be okay with having a housemate with a dog or a cat as well, but obviously they'd need to get along! The back yard is fenced off and would be safe for dogs. I do have two chickens and a rooster as well. They obviously live outside! The house is solid brick, with wooden floor boards (apart from the hallway which is newly carpeted). There is access to internet/wi-fi as well. You would have the option of having the large, back rumpus-room (wooden floorboards) or one of the other bedrooms. You would have your own newly-renovated bathroom as well.
Room available in a new house in Belmont (built Oct 2017). Shared bathroom (one other person), use of two living areas, open plan kitchen/dining/lounge and additional bathroom downstairs. Large deck area and backyard. The location is well connected to the highway so easy access to coast and Melbourne. There is a bus route 40m from the door to Geelong CBD and Deakin University or a 10 minute walk to High Street where there are heaps of bus routes and the free Deakin Shuttle bus. Walking distance (10mins) to supermarkets, gyms and the High Street shopping precinct. 40 minute walk to CBD Geelong. Off street car parking available, one garaged one open air. Rent is inclusive of all utilities, internet, netflix and a fortnightly cleaner.
We are looking for some people to share our house with. Situated in a friendly neighbourhood, the house has ample space and we have 2 bedrooms available. The house features open plan living with a deck just off of the lounge, perfect bbq area sun or rain. There is parking available on the street in front and to the side of the house. It is a 5 min drive to Woolworths, 10 mins into the CBD and 15 mins to Waurn Ponds. There is also a bus stop just at the end of the street. The house is fully furnished apart from the bedrooms. All bills (including gas, water, electricity, internet, etc) are split between all residents. Not a party house but we don't mind the occasional drink. We are looking for tidy, clean and fun/easy going people. We take pride in our home and look forward to some cool housemates.
