About the property
Only a 5-10 minute walk to the Geelong CBD, Barwon River, GMHBA Stadium, Landy Field Track, Little Creatures Brewery and South Geelong Train Station… yet it’s so quiet, calm and private. Our lovely little home is in need of new housemates! We are located in popular South Geelong and in a prime position on a local oval.
You can choose from one of the two rooms we have, which are both the same size. Our house has two bathrooms (one bath, one shower). Our house, outside of your room, is fully furnished and has a gorgeous oasis backyard. It has lots of character but is modern, clean and functional. Photos are from when the house was on the market (before we moved in) but more recent additions can be requested!
We’ve spent almost three years here and we love it. We are very tidy, clean and respectful housemates who love a house dinner and chat but also know that people need downtime.
We’re ideally looking for another couple to keep the rent/bills affordable. We’d be willing to take on a single person if it was a good fit but rent would reflect this. Move in date is end of January - but can be a little flexible! Message us if this sounds like a good fit for you!!

About Us -
Maddie/Me (27): working as a teacher in the local area. I love to travel, having ticked off 22 countries of my goal of ‘30 before 30’. Hobbies include playing frisbee and netball, listening to my favourite vinyls at home, training for a triathlon, playing guitar and listening to a good podcast, visiting a lil’ local yoga studio, and being the best aunty I can to my nieces and nephews.
Mitch (24): Currently finishing studying Environmental Engineering at Deakin Waurn Ponds. I work for an environmental consultancy company.
Growing up in Falls Creek, I've skied since I could walk and have always loved the snow. Outside of study or work, I love skiing, hiking, bike riding, playing guitar and board games, trivia, running, boxing, meditation, hanging with my family and friends, playing frisbee and reading.
Us: You’ll find us heading to the movies, playing board games with our housemates, heading for Thai on date night, watching the footy with mates, reading good books over a coffee at our local, teaching our parents how to play Finska and spending our Saturday mornings at the Barwon Edge cafe after parkrun playing the Saturday Super Quiz.
Our situation -
We’ve worked hard to create a beautiful home and want to find the right person/people to join us.
Our close friends and lovely housemates of three years are leaving us as they chase their dreams to live overseas. We’re ideally looking for another couple to fill their spot and keep the rent/bills affordable. We’d be willing to take on a single person if it was a good fit. Move in date is January!
