The house is located in Geelong, just around the corner from Elephant & Castle pub and Geelong hospital. It is a big house and has 5 bedrooms, but only 4 people will be living there. It has a big back yard, lots of off street parking and a 2 door garage (used for storage mainly). The communal parts of the house are mainly furnished, all you'll need is your own bedroom furniture. Unlimited internet is already set up for ultimate Netflix use. Here is a bit about the house itself- • Walking distance to Geelong City Centre. • HUGE kitchen and dining area with a separate lounge • 5 x bedrooms (3 with Built in robes, 1 with free standing wardrobes) • 2 car lock up garage with remotes • Central heating throughout the house • Split System Air Conditioning in the lounge and cooling system in kitchen and hallway • Huge backyard • 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets • Ample off street NOTE- Photos from realestate, not current furniture.
Very conveniently located - the property is about 10 minutes walk from Geelong CBD, and 15 minutes from Deakin University Waterfront Campus, and less than 10 minutes walk from Geelong Hospital. Largish bedroom available. There are 3 other bedrooms in use, and one that is a storage area/guest room. House has basics amenities, including, stove, washing machine and line, etc. The landlord does require you to be added to the lease as co-tenants, and approved by them - I don't think approval is likely to be an problem - hasn't been previously, but just thought you should be aware. For keeping pets, landlord permission is required - he had no objection to a previous housemate getting a cat, though.

We invite you to experience this rare and splendid monument to Victoria’s past. This Tudor Gothic building was the original site of Geelong Grammar School. The Governor of Victoria, Sir Henry Barkly, laid its foundation stone in 1857 with the Bishop of Melbourne and the Archdeacon of Geelong in attendance. The student boarder population grew rapidly to call 55 Maud Street their home. After the school relocated to a larger site in 1914, the building was subdivided into a factory and a guesthouse called the Dysart Private Hotel. In 1961, it was again converted into the Reformed Theological College then later a private residence. Fast – forward to 2018: 55 Maud Street had fallen into a state of disrepair , however we had a grander vision for the historic site – once again it would serve as a base for students in the heart of Geelong. Today, The Iconic boasts 28 premium dormitories in a peaceful and gorgeous setting.

Hi there! My partner Kane and I have a room available for a minimum 6 month lease through our realestate from the 14th of November. House is in Geelong West, just off Pakington St. We are 29 & 30 and work full-time. Super easy going, friendly, like to keep a clean living space, respectful of others space and have lived in share houses for about 9 years as a couple, so we are both very used to everything that comes with sharing a house and living with others and have found we are able get along with just about everyone! We are hoping to find someone with the same values, who is clean & tidy, friendly, easy going personality, respectful of our space & independent. Most of all, someone we can feel comfortable & relaxed with, as our weeknights are pretty chilled after work & we like to just relax & unwind with a movie/tv series. We also have an indoor cat (who is reluctantly in the photo above 😂) so must like cats! If you are interested, send me a message and we can chat more! Cheers! Katrina
This is a beautiful cottage-style house in the heart of Geelong West, near Pakington St which is the 'cafe hub' of Greater Geelong with further cafes, Aldi/Coles, gym and medical centre right around the corner on Shannon Avenue as well. 15 minutes walk to Geelong Train Station and 25 minutes walk to the Geelong CBD. There is a dishwasher, air conditioning, ducted heating and outdoor dining area/garden with a clothesline. My current housemates are both moving to Melbourne in December, so the two rooms up for rent will be unfurnished. As the outgoing housemates own a lot of the white goods/furniture in shared areas, I am seeking to replace this, but let me know if you have something you can or would like to bring to the household. Both of the bedrooms have enough room for a large bed and desk and have a built-in wardrobe, but one is larger than the other with more floorspace so brings slightly higher rent (smaller is just over 3x3 metres, larger is about 4x3.5 metres).
