I've recently bought this 2 bedroom house, have almost finished renovating it and am looking for a housemate to join me and fill the 2nd bedroom! It's extremely close to the Edwardstown train station (the trains are electric so quiet), has a huge double automatic garage, freshly polished floorboards, freshly painted walls, fast NBN, entertaining courtyard, secure front yard and garden, aircon/heating, ceiling fans in the rooms, good water pressure, is close to Castle Plaza shopping centre and will be almost fully furnished with my retro mid-century furniture. I'm social but also enjoy my downtime and am not keen on having a party house.
Fantastic outdoor area, close to public transport, ducted air conditioning and high ceilings. Room has it's own bathroom and shower attached, which is for private use. Kitchen space is quite large, and sharing the area hasn't caused any problems even with 4 in the house. Pallet garden growing at the back with some fresh herbs for cooking use. Currently has 1 cat living here, possible for additional with talks to Landlord. Not an appropriate house house for dogs unfortunately.
*Please note we're looking for someone to move in around mid September- mid August after as our current housemate isn't moving out until then* Hi everyone! We're looking for a third housemate for our house as our roommate is moving out sometime from mid Sep - mid August, no set date yet! Must like animals as we have a dog (border collie x kelpie) we don't want any more pets at the property sorry! The house is completely furnished except for the room we're looking to fill! Must be reliable with utilities and rent, respectful of others and clean up after themselves. What on the outset looks somewhat "cosmetically challenged" is in actuality a large, charming property with three big bedrooms, a shared living room space at the front and kitchen/bathroom to the back. Beyond this, the back opens up to a large sectioned backyard with fruit trees and vegetable garden (in it's infancy!) along with a large shed as another available private, social space or storage space. We have ducted air-conditioning and a fast unlimited NBN wi-fi connection and our quarterly utility bills are generally quite low. The place is a short walk to the Seaford line train as well as the buses going regularly along Winston Avenue and the tram further up East Avenue. It is a perfect location for those utilising said public transport for regular CBD commute. Supermarkets, gyms, cafes, fast food and dining outlets are all within walking distance.
