Living in Elwood is the best! It' a short walk to cafes, public transport, Luna park and the beach. The apartment is light and bright with garden surrounds and outlook. Im on the ground floor and have an awesome balcony/outdoor area, to enjoy the sun and meet the friendly neighbours. There is a shared car park on site with plenty of street parking too. It's just been renovated with fresh paint, new curtains, reverse cycle heating and cooling and brand new appliances... you can literally just move your personal belongings in and have everything you need! ** originally advertised for the largest room however I don’t really mind which room I stay in, it’s more about getting the right person, so $238 for the queen sized room and $255 for the largest room that easily fits two king sized beds ** Massive room on offer in leafy Elwood, 100m from St Kilda botanical gardens and 10 min walk to beach. I know it’s not really swimming weather unless you’re part of the polar bear club but their are some amazing bike trails from here down past Brighton and Sandringham. Room can easily fit two king size beds and has four double doored cupboards. The largest bed in the photo you can have if you’d like, very comfortable. I would consider two friends in the room however couples I’m not super keen on sorry. The apartment is a large recently renovated Art Deco 2 bedroom on the ground floor. It’s next to St Kilda botanical gardens, 5 min bike ride to St Kilda beach, 5 min walk through the park to Acland St where you can catch tram 96 into the city. Balaclava station is a 10 min walk away and tram 67 direct to Federation square is just a 2 min walk from home. Large kitchen, brand new large fridge, dishwasher, new stove/oven, retro kitchen bench. Wooden floorboards throughout. Massive lounge with huge bay window looking out to communal garden. Open fire place makes it cosy for winter and doors that close off for privacy. New bathroom with huge shower head, excellent water pressure, bath and brand new 8.5kg washing machine. The bedroom for rent is huge, freshly painted, new carpets, big window looking in to a garden and sheltered from any outside noise. There are two large double doored cupboards and two smaller ones above with a huge amount of space. Free unlimited parking on road, with spaces always available. Safe quiet area but a quick walk away from all of St Kilda attractions! I’ve also got my sisters Netflix password :) Also smokers accepted of course just not inside the apartment.
We have a room for rent available for move in on the 30th of this month in a 2BR apartment located in Elwood. It is a slightly older apartment building, but with that always comes a lot of open space. As for transport we have several trams (2 being night trams) within a 5-10 minute walk including the Sandringham line. If you drive there is also a car space available right infront of our living room window. Coles, Woolies and Aldi are all a 15 minute walk as well. The room for rent is fairly spacious and offers a lot of storage. It is currently unfurnished (aside from a small desk) as our last housemate did not stay for very long. As for the apartment itself it has a lot of openness to it with high ceilings and big windows. The kitchen, the living room and bathroom are all of ample size. We are still in the process of furnishing the place as well. The kitchen is newly renovated and the carpets were replaced early this year. Unfortunately there is no washing/dryer available in our unit. Instead we take the 15 minute walk down to the laundromat. If you own either, there is an extension in the bathroom for hookups. You are also a 15 minute walk to St.Kilda pier. So if you enjoy runs along the shore in the morning, the skatepark available, or a place with cheap chicken parmas its quite convenient :)
Hi, We are looking for someone to share our 2 bedroom unit in Elwood. The bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished and is 4m by 2.8m so fits a queen size bed well and whatever else you would like to bring with you. It also comes with a built in robe for storage. The rest of the house is furnished. Internet is included in rent. The unit is well situated with views of the city, Ripponlea train station a 6 minute walk away and a 67 Tram stop right out the front! We are also really close to many cafes and shops. Parking would be on street and is unlimited – no permit required! Any questions about the house or us, please don’t hesitate to ask. 😊
Amazing location directly opposite the park and beach. 2 story, 3 bedroom townhouse with front and rear private courtyards. Ormond Road shops are just at the other end of the street. Very spacious town house with all living downstairs and bedrooms and main bathroom upstairs. We have most of the necessities, like; aircon, heating, BBQ and a huge TV projector. Looking for non-smoking male or female who's easy to get along with, respectful of other people and pays rent on time. Ideally a similar age group of 26 to 40. Rent is $1175 per month and includes internet and a cleaner once every 2 weeks. We keep the place pretty clean, but the cleaner is just good for the nasty stuff we don't want to do.
Top floor apartment, full of natural light in a perfect location in Elwood available to a non smoker. Just across the street there is the #67 tram and Ripponlea station only 7 min walk away (5 if you run a bit) 2 min walk in the opposite direction you have the best coffee in Melbourne and some great cafes too. 20 minutes walk to the heart of Acland steet and about the same distance towards Elwood beach. If you're a gym junkie like myself there's a ton to choose from in the area. The two bedrooms are on the opposite sides of a very long apartment so you get your privacy aswell. I have both washer and dryer, high speed internet and loads of unlimited off street parking just outside. The apartment also has a security intercom for the front entrance. The room itself can come furnished or unfurnished and will comfortably fit a double bed (as you can tell by the photo) It has BIR with a ton of storage room in them too. Apologies to the cat owners but I'm highly allergic to feline friends and as much as I love dogs to all the dog owners, the apartment is unfortunately not large enough to keep one here. Rent is $912.50 per calender month so roughly $210pw, bond is a full months rent. All bills are split down the middle and all is awesome =)
