Looking for a female housemate to rent a room in my apartment. Its in the best location in Elwood, a short walk from the beach (300m) and the joinery cafe (200m) and not far from St Kilda. There is a short walk to the bus stop to Richmond or Elsternwick station and the tram into the city from Acland St in St Kilda. The apartment is a modern 1920's art deco on ground floor with a security entrance. It has a really nice courtyard great for a BBQ in summer. Its fully furnished and pretty much all brand new. Theres internet and fully integrated sonos system so great for movies and listening to music. The room itself is the second room and has a double wardrobe with heaps of hanging space. It has its own bathroom a short walk across the hall (I have my own ensuite). Its on a nice quite street and has lots of off street parking and never have to worry about getting a park. Hi, I am moving out of my lovely flat so I am looking for someone to takeover my room. It is a 3 bedroom flat, in a lovely tree lined street, easy free on street parking. The apartment has a little balcony out the back and a communual gated area out the back to park bicycles etc. Open plan kitchen/living space, gas oven, washing machine and dishwasher. One shared bathroom - good water pressure and a bathtub. It is a relaxed household, people pitch in and do what needs to be done but there is no cleaning roster - not a house for neat freaks but we do keep the communal areas tidy. It is a short walk to St Kilda, plenty of public transport about (96 & 67 tram, or Ripponlea train station on Sandringham line) . Room available is large and in the converted attic space with its own heater/aircon unit, it has a built in desk and large wardrobe. The one downside of the room up for rent is it doesn't have a door, it is the only room at the top of the stairs so no one but you will go up there but noise can/does travel up. Housemates are really good and has never been a issue for me and I work shift work. Currently, you will be sharing with 2 awesome housemates both in their late 20's - Dan and Jo (Jo - a female, is currently on holidays in Europe). Dan's works as a engineer and interests include playing football with a team in Brunswick, listening to museic, camping, surfing, cooking and socialing with friends. Jo works as a speech pathologist and interests including keeping fit, socialisng with friends, fine wine and fine food. Both are Monday to Friday workers.
