The apartment has wooden floors and large windows with great ventilation. The room is a good size and comes fully furnished with a queen bed and a side table. It also has a built-in wardrobe. The bathroom has a shower/bath and is shared. You will have access to a washing machine. The kitchen has a fridge and all other appliances and utensils. Close to public transport! It's only 3 mins walk from the tram and 8 mins walk to the train station.
A great little apartment one street back from the beach and close to Elwood and St Kilda shops, cafes and with a bus stop out the front. The apartment is fully furnished, cosy and warm in winter and has been recently renovated; it also has a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. The room on offer is lovely but quite small - I'll take out the desk which will provide a bit more space. It has a queen bed in there and built in wardrobes, I have enough furniture as it is so I'm hoping to find someone who doesn't need to bring much/anything! I'm happy to cover the internet and water bills (this can be quite high as I have to share a meter with the whole block). There's a secure, undercover carport which I don't use so you'd be welcome to it if you like however the street parking is also unrestricted.

Elwood Beach is also only a few minutes walk away (a few hundred metres from the property), and with winter coming to an end the area will become very busy again soon. The room costs $170 per week, or $737 per calendar month and is paid monthly. Utilities and Wi-Fi are extra but it's a relatively large household so they're never too much, these come once every few months. It is a very spacious room and has a lot of natural light, and comes with a clothes rack and heater fan (it's an old house so the heater is necessary through winter).
