This 2-storey 2-bedroom townhouse is extremely spacious, with a large living/dining/balcony area. The room available is also a lot larger than it looks. The photos don't do it justice! Only a 5-min walk to Victoria Park station and close to all your favourite Abbotsford hotspots. Having lived in a variety of suburbs across Melbourne throughout my life, I would have to say this would be the best spot I've ever lived in. The location will best appeal to people working in Abbotsford, Richmond or the CBD. One thing to note - My current flatmate is moving out with most of his furniture (as per photos) and I will be re-furnishing the house. This house is well sized and more than enough for two people to live comfortably. It has a garden, a large kitchen and dinning room, plus a separate lounge. The photos are of the 'before' as the house is having a change of carpets and paint so it will be like new! There is a well sized bedroom that would fit a queen size bed comfortably and the room has built in robes! You will have your own large bathroom - no need to share :) The house is on a quiet suburban street, it is a lovely place to live if you don't like the hustle and bustle when you get home. Personally, I work and hangout in the city so like to come home to the quiet! The house is in a great location - within walking distance to plenty of public transport, including the 86 down smith st, Victoria park station and two busses that go down Johnston St! There is also a woolies and a Coles which are about a 15 minute walk away, and plenty of pubs within walking distance as well - what more do you need! The room will be mostly unfurnished and is big enough to fit in a queen size bed still with plenty of room for a desk or shelves. The rest of the house is furnished, however if you do have some furniture or appliances we'd probably be able to accommodate for that! The house isn't huge though so no couples - sorry!
Are you our new housemate? We are looking for someone to move in late January You would be living with two guys and a girl. We are fairly easy going, have our own schedules and are out an about alot. This is not a party house. We all get along well and are looking for a house mate who is ideally late 20 to early 30 and working; considerate, reliable and house trained! We have the interwebs and split all bills as they come in. About the room: It is able to able to fit a queen-sized bed and lots of furniture. The room is unfurnished, except a freestanding wardrobe which can stay or go. Our house has four bedrooms, an open kitchen / lounge area and a single bathroom. As a girl, I haven't had any real issues with there only being one bathroom as there is a second toilet outside. We have Air-conditioning, which helps keep the bedrooms cooler over the warm summer months and the bedroom has a wall heater and the the lounge a gas heater so we are pretty set for all weather We have an amazing backyard area and a BBQ, perfect for summer. The house is fully furnished already but if you have anything you want to bring (Especially an outdoor furniture set), we can see if we can find room for it. A bit about us. We are all recently turned/turning 30. Jared was born and bred in Auckland NZ, he spends most of his time at the gym but occasionally goes to work too. Sarah is also from NZ. She spends too much time rowing! In fact Jared and Sarah went to schools a stones throw from each other but we only just recently met here in Melbourne. Andy is also kiwi and works in IT.
