The location of our house is a few minute walk to bus lines taking you to Brunswick/ The city (it’s basically on the border of Northcote, Thornbury and Fairfield). Then it’s around a 15-minute walk down to Fairfield train station, and also the Fairfield shops. The house features two decent double size bedrooms upstairs, each with built in robes and a shared bathroom, and storage cupboard. Down stairs double bedroom features an ensuite. The home is in a perfect location near public transport, nature (Merri Creek) and amenities. We are a short 10min walk from the railway station and it only takes 10mins to get to the city. There is also tram access the number 86, 15 mins away. The room has plenty of privacy, you have the bottom floor to yourself and has it's own bathroom!! It will come furnished with a bed, a wardrobe and a large chest of drawers. The reason I am subletting the room is that I will be going to South America for 3 and a bit months (lucky me!). Once I have found a suitable tenant i'll let the landlord know and you probably need to fill out some paperwork but my understanding is that no bond is necessary.
The place is close to everything! Clifton Hill station at the end of the street (gets you to the city in 7 minutes on a good day), the 86 tram 5 minutes away, excellent little continental supermarket across the road, bottle shop on the corner and cafes all over. The house itself is large and light, with big bedrooms and a huge backyard (big enough for the occasional outdoor cinema or game of Finska). The house is furnished apart from the bedrooms, so all you’ll need is your bed and wardrobe. Bills are split equally (gas, electricity, water, internet).
There is one room available in our spacious three bedroom share house. The unit is very bright and about three minute walk to the Yarra Bend Park. It is also very close to Clifton Hill Station and although it's so close to the trains (about 600m) you cannot hear them. The room has a balcony and large built in mirrored wardrobes which let you store all of your clothes, even if you have a substantial amount of robes. ^^ The shared space has a huge 45m² lounge-room and an outside deck (where you can smoke if you like). There's undercover locked parking in case you should have a car or a bike. Internet is included and you'd get all that for $280 a week. My flatmates and I have no preference or expectations on how people should live their lives, as long as we get along well. Nilton and Vicinius are very easy going and I am yet to see them get phased by anything. We all can stick to ourselves and don't need to be entertained all the time. The house is usually working full time, sometimes a bit longer, which means we all might be back late, but usually we can make time for inspections from six onwards. The evenings are probably the best for having a look at the place. So, if you want to come over and have a look and a chat and see how we go, just send us a message.

The house is on Trenerry Crescent, and is a convenient two minute walk to Dr Morse, Lulie Street Tavern, Admiral Chen Ho, Rita's (best pizza in Melbourne), and IGA (for late night snacks). For bigger, less expensive grocery shopping the Woolworths on Nicholson street is also walkable distance, as well as all goodies on Johnson, Smith and Gertrude Streets. Victoria Park (Abbotsford) train station, runs about every 6 minutes, is a convenient 2 minute walk from the house, and takes about 10 minutes into Flinders street. There is also a bus stop on the corner of Hoddle Street and Johnson Street, admittedly I don't know the specific routes, but there’s a couple that go into the city and various other places if that sounds like something you need... The house is well kept (see pictures) with a nice aspect from the living room area and balcony which overlooks Victoria Park. Depending on the time of the day, you can watch the footballers train or the puppies play. About the house... Two bedrooms (both double with built in robes), two bathrooms and fully furnished, except for your room, with modern appliances throughout.
