Hi! My name is David, I've been renting this 3 bedroom house since March 2024. We are currently looking for another housemate to join.
Rent is $926 per month. No bond is required. You don't need to sign a contract, as we are on a periodic lease and have permission to sublet. Room is available immediately.
Household accepting of neurospice, LGBTQ+ friendly. Smoking allowed (outside only).

Housemates:
At the moment we are three in the house. I am a 32 y/o man, moved to Melbourne in 2024 from Sunny Coast, QLD.
Spend most of my time working on creative hobbies. I am often at home, but generally quiet and respectful of others' space.

I share a room with my partner Glenn, who like me is very easygoing, usually does his own thing, but loves social activities like board game nights, karaoke, nature walks, or trips to cafés and op-shops.

Matt is a 32 y/o man, originally from England, but has lived in Melbourne for about seven years. He has been studying full time in environmental conservation, & also does casual work at local markets.
Matt is a kind & friendly guy who generally keeps to himself, but likes an occasional chat. He is often away for a few days at a time on study excursions, or visiting his partner.

We keep the place generally clean and tidy, without being pedantic. An easygoing & peaceful atmosphere is important to us, which is why we take a relaxed, altruistic approach to shared duties and communication.

Location:
This house is in a peaceful, leafy street. It is a 5 minute walk from Fairfield Village, which has the local IGA, doctor, chemist, & numerous lovely cafes. We are close to several bus routes including 508 & 250. It is about a 20 minute walk from High Street, Northcote, which is serviced by the 86 tram & has many useful shops including Coles and Aldi.
There are several parks & trails nearby, including Yarra Bend Park, Darebin Parklands, All Nations Park, & the Darebin and Merri Creek trails. We are also within a 10 minute walk of the Northcote Aquatic Centre.

House:
The house itself is set back from the road, so it is very quiet. There is a grassy yard on three sides of the house with established trees. We have a small fire pit which is lovely on colder nights. The house has a driveway for off-street parking, & secure garage for storage.
We have a shared kitchen with ample cupboard space, gas stoves & oven, shared fridge, toaster, microwave & air-fryer.
Shared bathroom with a separate shared toilet, & a shared laundry.
The available room is unfurnished, but it has a built-in wardrobe with plenty of room for storage. The window faces onto the garden, so you can see the trees from your bed.
