About the house; Hey there, we have some shuffling going on, and will be looking for a couple to move into the master bedroom in our 3 bedroom freestanding house in Fitzroy around the 25th of April. The price in the ad is per week, so $217 per person, per week ($434 total). The house is in an amazing location! We're less than a minute walk away from Brunswick St (full of awesome restaurants, bars, cafes and shops), 1 min walk from the 11, 86, 96 tram, and only around 10 mins walk from the middle of the city. The beautiful Carlton Gardens are also a 2 minute walk away. We are in a little back street/laneway though, so generally it's quite quiet, all things considered. The room is a good size for 2 people. It has a walk in robe and en-suite bathroom. As the ad states, the room is being offered as unfurnished, however this is a queen bed and mattress with bedside tables I would be happy to leave in the room if needed. The house is a good size. It's 2 story, with the living room, kitchen, dining, laundry, storage and single toilet downstairs, and the three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. We have a washing machine, dishwasher, and stainless kitchen stuff, and a little courtyard for growing things/attempting to get browner in summer. We also have two glass brick walls sections on the East and West side of the house which let in heaps of natural light. It’s obviously close to everything while in a side street off Smith street so still quiet. It’s split over two levels, with the kitchen/living area downstairs and both bedrooms, balcony and bathroom upstairs. It’s on the ground floor and has a brand new kitchen including a way too powerful oven/cooktop (it’s quick you guys!) and amazing little dishwasher. We have access to a little storage unit, bike storage as well as a garage, I don’t have a car so you’re welcome to use that. I don’t have a lot of furniture at the moment as I’ve just moved and I’m slowly adding to it. I do like minimalistic living but of course would love for you to add to the apartment if you feel like it.

I have lived in the area for three years and I can promise* you you’ve never lived anywhere better. It’s almost a pre-requisite that you must love coffee and ice cream if you live here, because it’s a massively missed opportunity if not and you might make my ice cream melt into tears of sadness if you don’t. I need someone that’s KNOWS they’re actually clean, that wants to clean and isn’t just clean when they’re told that maybe cleaning would be a good idea because they said they would and then never did? Like, if you’re that person right now that’s telling someone that they *just* want to move into a place where the other person is clean and tidy, then you’re probably my soulmate and I’m excited. The room in question isn’t the biggest of rooms, I’ll be honest, but it will definitely fit a queen size bed in with side tables or a desk if the bed is against the wall. It has big built in robes and not one but two big windows, one of which opens up to the balcony – you lucky thing! There is a car space available if you’ve got wheels, and some storage space available as well. As for furniture, I think I’m pretty much sorted for the moment so all you need to bring is your lovely (keyword) self if you want. Me? I’m nearly 30 and I’m fairly outgoing and social but also like a quiet home, somewhere to retreat, that sort of thing. I’m definitely known to sing badly, stare at my plants lovingly for what is probably too long and test out how long the fridge can stay open for before it beeps while I search for snacks that never seem to appear. I work nearby in health, and I coach as well. I’m in the middle of setting up the coaching biz, so this is taking up lots of my time lately amongst all the other usual life things. Ok, last essentials – having a peaceful home is important to me, as is living with people that are really mindful of their housemates and considerate. Hi there, We have a sweet house in the perfect location on Brunswick Street, it is a superbly refurbished Victorian terrace the the route 11 tram stopping right in front of the house, delivering you into the City in just 10 minutes. The front downstairs bedroom is available and is fully-furnished. The house features four bedrooms and two bathrooms split across two levels. This generous sized room features hardwood floors, original Victorian fireplace and double glazed windows. Also, there is a large bathroom downstairs with in-floor spa bath for your use. Further down the hall is a spacious open plan living area has folding doors opening into the courtyard terrace, which has an inbuilt gas BBQ, and space for your bike accessible through rear lane. The modern kitchen includes European appliances, espresso coffee and full kitchen requisites. We also have a basement set up with gym equipment, for the sporty-types. Very neat and clean (professionally cleaned once a fortnight). Courtyard at the rear of the house, which gets the amazing afternoon sun! Less than a 10 minute walk up the road is the local supermarket, three local pubs within 3 min walk, and a cafe and the beautiful Edinburgh gardens directly across the street. We have found that sharing the cost of common services and consumables works well (coffee, spices, cleaning detergents and such). This is a two bedroom terrace house in Collingwood. I took on the lease from friends a month ago and am now looking for a housemate. The house is in a great location within a short stroll to smith street ect. This house is furnished/being furnished, the bedroom has a built in wardrobe with substantial storage space, and a skylight with solar powered blind and opening system. Brunswick Street, Edinburgh Gardens and Piedimonte’s supermarket just a cool 10 min walk around the corner. The apartment boasts three bedrooms, a balcony with resort-style view (we have a swimming pool!), large open-plan kitchen/living area, lots of storage space as well as two bathrooms! Single car space is also available if you’re willing to chuck in a little extra p/w (otherwise we will look to rent it out as a contribution towards bills). THE ROOM (“You’re tearing me apart, Lisa!”): The biggest room in the apartment, on your own floor upstairs! Super clean and spacious (obviously) 5.5 x 4.3, with a window overlooking lots of old and colourful roofs.
