We've just signed the lease for this place and pick up keys on the 3rd of March and so are looking for someone to move in with us and take the second bedroom. Just off Brunswick so transport is no issue what so ever and getting about for food and drink will be a piece of cake. House is surprisingly roomy for the area with a sweet little outdoor bit for drinks/bbqs etc. Bond is actually 6 weeks rent so 1300, monthly rent is 1200. There's no fixed monthly amount for bills as it just depends on how much we use! A great 1920 Victorian cottage in the middle of Fitzroy, 10mins walk to the city and situated between the 96 and 11 trams. We are renting a brand new two-storey town house in Carlton. Downstairs has a living room with a study space, then we have the kitchen/dining area. There’s the laundry (washing machine), toilet and storage area, and we have a little courtyard out the back with a washing line. Upstairs are the three bedrooms, the bathroom (shower not a bath) and a linen cupboard. The available room itself is spacious and can comfortably fit a double bed, chest of drawers and a study table. There's also extra storage space in the linen cupboard immediately outside the bedroom. Our house has really high ceilings and skylights so we get a lot of natural light. The place is fully furnished except for the third bedroom. The landlord is really great – he’s very friendly and we’ve never had a problem with him. Our current third housemate is moving out so the room is available from the 6th of March. Furthermore, it is 3 minutes from the 96 Tramline which is very handy for commuting in and out of the CBD for work. The house has 3 floors consisting of a garage and bedroom on the first, Kitchen, Lounge and an outdoor area on the second with two more bedrooms on the 3rd. All of the bedrooms are ensuite. The kitchen is large and spacious with all goods necessery for cooking included. The Lounge is great in size with modern furnishings and fireplace. The room available is a double room on the 3rd floor. It has lots of natural light and it's own bathroom. Bills are not included in the rent and my experience is that they come to roughly $80-100 between 3 per month. Unlimited fast Wi-fi. All white good included. Hi there, I'm looking for another professional to share my modern two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with. It's a 3053 address on the Carlton/Fitzroy border, so some of Melbourne's best restaurants and bars, on Brunswick St as well as Lygon St, are about 300m away, or a five-minute walk! Excluding your room, the apartment is fully furnished and includes European laundry in the main bathroom. The balcony is great for entertaining, and we also have access to a communal rooftop BBQ area. Normal prerequisites - clean, tidy and fun but not full-time party crazy - apply. The house is your classic single-level North Fitzroy terrace, with three large bedrooms, polished wooden floors and a decent-sized living room, with great western light. It has a few quirks about the place, including a smallish kitchen, but it has a lovely courtyard out the back, where we're eternally trying to grow more herbs. Nestled between Nicholson St and Brunswick St makes the 96 and 11 trams a cinch to catch, and Clancy insists he can cycle into the City in 6 minutes (on a good day).

An amazing Victorian house in the best part of Melbourne. I'm seeking an outgoing, friendly housemate for a room in a beautiful Victorian house. I am a professional in my 30's, keen traveller (from NZ and lived in the Czech Republic for a few years, most recently Shanghai), like the outdoors - climbing, hiking, mountain biking - and try to get out frequently, like cooking and the different foods around the city, and friendly, easy going people. The house is at the top end of Wellington Street and close to the 86 tram stop, Queens Parade shopping centre, the Fox and Clifton Hill Pubs, and not so far from the Clifton Hill Station (10 min walk), Smith Street shops and cafes, Darling Gardens, and Edinburgh Gardens. The Collingwood gym and indoor swimming pool and tennis court is 5 minutes walk away. The Wellington street cycle route is just outside the front gate. The house has a small back yard, great for summer bbqs and relaxing. Parking is plentiful and free on the street. By tram the city is about 25 min away, less by bike. The house is a renovated Victorian style worker's cottage with two bedrooms, one bathroom, open plan lounge room/kitchen/dining added to the rear, with French doors opening to the courtyard and garden. The vacant bedroom has polished wooden floors, ornamental fireplace, and a window opening to the garden. Communal areas are furnished. The departing resident is open to heaving her bed and desk if you want it, but if not, all you need is your bedroom furniture. My ideal housemate will be either employed or completing postgrad study, friendly and social, easy-going and open-minded. A similar outdoor enthusiast/climber/hiker/traveller would fit in well!
