The pictures aren't great but they're from before we moved in properly and were the only pictures I had on my phone- sorry! It's a modern apartment with a brilliant balcony- perfect now Melbourne is starting to heat up! The apartment itself is spacious and a good size for 3-4 people. We've got a dishwasher and washing machine but no microwave or tv, for no reason in particular. Not against getting these if we all want to. It's in a great location, just off of Smith street - which has all the bars and restaurants you could want. Also a stone's throw front Fitzroy so can easily get around all the cool spots. 3.5km from the CBD so ideal for commuting in. My girlfriend and I walk to work and doesn't take long at all!

I work locally and sometimes long hours so look forward to a spot on the couch and some mind numbing TV. Gone are my party days, preference is more for a dinner with some mates. Don’t get me wrong I still indulge in the Friday night after work bevvy’s but I hate wasting a beaut day with hangover. I like to share space but also like to respect others own time/space. I'm pretty relaxed (but everyone says that….but for reals I am), and won't name food in the cupboards or fridge! (Who does that?). Our little terrace on Rathdowne st is wonderfully close to the delicious restaurants of Carlton and Carlton North, and practically next door to the beautiful exhibition gardens. Unfortunately our house is losing our longest resident of ten years, Kieran, to love. However it does mean we have a spare room for a fun, clean, friendly and personable young professional to join our share house! Bonuses: We have central heating, small back yard, a herb garden, wooden floor boards, large kitchen and living space (away from bedrooms, so minimal noise). We share wine regularly. Parking is limited to on street, which is itself limited to 2 hours during the week. However, we are only a 20 minute walk to the CBD, 4 minute walk to Woolworths, and 10 minutes to Bunswick St Fitzroy. The 96 tram is also only a five minute walk away. Cycling is also a great way to get around the area.
