If you're into being a little more wholesome like me, the Wayville Farmer's Market is on every Sunday across the street at the showgrounds (Gilles at the Grounds and BowerBird Bazaar also on regularly). There isn't much in the way of restaurants/eateries in walking distance, but being this close to the city means almost every restaurant is in reach of your fingertips on uber eats.
