Are you a Christian female looking to make a positive life move in time for the new year? A beautiful and spacious 'room with a view' will be available from mid-December 2016 in our good-sized Greenwich apartment near the harbour foreshore, looking out towards Cockatoo Island. We are 4 mins' walk from a beautiful bay in a quiet area with Greenwich Road shops (including a Campos 4 Beans Cafe, post office, pharmacy and IGA supermarket) round the corner. Greenwich Baths with its lovely beach and cafe is 10 mins' walk. The room could be furnished or unfurnished; if furnished, this means I would sell you my furniture as I am moving back to the UK - we would need to discuss this. The great thing is that you could easily have a room with everything you need ready to welcome you! Furniture: pretty, double bed IKEA frame; quality mattress; linen for both it and a single bed I used to have; two small IKEA rugs; a beautiful antique iron baker's rack which I use for my books etc.; two small bedside tables; a wicker waste paper basket; a wicker laundry basket; a bedside lamp; extensions leads; one chair that belongs to the room. The clothing rack I use belongs to the landlord who lives upstairs. The wardrobe also belongs to the room as far as I'm aware. Transport: bus stop (265) is very close; Wollstonecraft station is 15 minutes' walk; Greenwich hourly ferry service to the CBD is 15 minutes' walk. There is also a commuter catamaran direct to the CBD in 10 minutes from a wharf near the bay in the picture. The rest of the apartment has everything you need (fridge, vacuum cleaner, iron/ironing board, washing machine, dishwasher etc. though no TV - but we actually like it that way! I'm not sure we'd be anti having one but certainly we prefer a peaceful atmosphere to blasting Channel 7 through Mission speakers every night for hours on end...We watch movies/TV on our laptops). There is a garden at the back and a front yard too. The back is greener and has some furniture. We grow herbs and some plants and flowers. My flatmates include an Australian girl from Ballarat who works part-time as a nanny and the rest of the time is very creative in terms of painting, making curtains or whatever...The other one of us is Russian, studying part-time, and a naturopath by day. We don't actually see each other much as our schedules are quite different but sometimes we do like to eat dinner and watch a movie together when we coincide! We keep a clean and peaceful home and don't do mega parties every weekend or anything (sometimes though ;) !), and we have people round to dinner occasionally. For my part, this is not because I don't like parties - I just don't know many people in Sydney compared to London! We are all female. We are practising Christians so it would be nice - though not absolutely essential - to find someone likeminded...We would like someone between the ages of 23 and 45.

Hi There! We've recently moved to the Lower North Shore suburb of Woolwich. Where is Woolwich? Good question, I had no idea about this suburb until I found this flat! Woolwich is located 11 kilometres north-west of the Sydney CBD. It take 25 minutes to reach Circular Quay via Ferry (amazing views of the Harbour on your way in!) and about 40 minutes via bus. Woolwich has a really nice village-y feel to it, there are a few cafe's and an award winning pub with some of the best views of the city skyline. It's very leafy and has great harbour walks. I'm thinking about getting a paddle board for the summer as there is a boat launch at the bottom of the street! I'm loving this area, after living in Sydney from Bondi to Leichardt, Woolwich is by far the most chilled out and underrated suburb. If you want to feel like your living on an island sanctuary but still close to city this is the place! The Flat: Has three bedrooms, water views and is recently renovated, timber flooring, modern kitchen and bathroom. Hello potential flatmate! My flatmate will be moving out so I'm looking for a new flatmate. The apartment is located in a well maintained, secure complex and is a quick 5-7 min walk to St Leonards train station. It is near the Royal North Shore Hospital and the popular Crows Nest area where there's a lot of cafes, restaurants and bar. The room available is quite large and very spacious. It can fit a queen or a king sized bed and you will still have a lot of room to move and still plenty of space for your stuff. It has a built in mirrored wardrobe. Also, the room has an an access to a shared balcony. You will be sharing the toilet with the occupant of the other room. So, it will be you and one other person who will be sharing the toilet. We are currently searching for a new housemate to join us (bonus points if you bring along some good bant and wine! – or spirits we’re not fussy :) ) The Room/House: The room is an enviable one in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a beautiful view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It currently has a double bed and a desk in it (will be unfurnished when you move in) with quite a bit of room left to move around which is helpful as it does not have a built in wardrobe. You also will be sharing the spacious main bathroom with one other. The apartment is bright and sunny with double glazed windows so it doesn’t get too hot or too cold. It is fully furnished! So no need to bring anything along with you other than the furniture for your room! In relation to location we are a 3 minute walk from the Waverton shops and train station, a 10 minute walk from North Sydney CBD, a 20 minute walk to the nearest ferry at MacMahons Point and a 15 minute train ride into the city. We currently have a weekly cleaning roster in place so the house is always kept clean and tidy! The Nitty-Gritty: The room is priced at $277 per week which includes unlimited broadband internet. About the housemate you'll be living with: He's 26 years old, made in North Queensland, have lived in New York and now Sydney for the past year as a Doctor. Main interests are sport, TV/films, gym, travel and socialising - he usually cooks every night for hmself, happy to share or do your own thing! We are looking for a short term housemate who is clean, responsible, easy-going but also respectful. You will have your own unfurnished bedroom with built-ins, wooden floors and freshly painted walls. Your own bathroom has a frameless walk in shower and mirrored cabinets. Brand new fixtures through out. AC, lifts, video intercom and loading dock in a security building. A spacious common living area with balcony separates both rooms so there is privacy for both. I will be furnishing the living area, kitchen and laundry. You won't need anything except your bed and personal items. I'm flexible if you need space for a work desk as well. Security Parking and Storage are available but additional through the agent. On street parking is free outside office hours. The apartment is brand new and construction finished in April this year. It is 1 block from St Leonards train station, the Post Office, Coles, Gyms, Yoga, Chemist, ATM and more. Only 2-3 blocks from the Crows Nest main strip filled with restaurants, pocket bars and cafes. There is a cafe across the road for your morning coffee as well. Having lived in the area it is really a lovely place to stay, a stones throw from the the local hub and a short train ride or Uber to the CBD and Chatswood. The photos posted are not exactly as per the unit layout of mine which is larger and has 2 bedrooms but you'll get the idea. Based on my experience, bills usually are $300 per quarter split 50/50 and internet is $40pp per month. In addition to all of the above you'll have an amazing flatmate!

This modern apartment is a convenient 5-10 minute walk to public transport (St Leonards Station, buses) and still quiet! Food options and supermarkets in Crows Nest are an easily walkable option, but the kitchen is also reasonably sized and equipped with a gas stove and stainless appliances. The bathroom is uncramped, with a very spacious shower and a bathtub also. I love the tonnes of natural light it gets with high ceilings in the living room, and sunrises from the shared rooftop terrace are a bonus! Ducted reverse-cycle air-conditioning and a spacious storage cage in the garage round out a very convenient and liveable apartment.
Unfortunately I have to move out of my flat as I am moving back to NZ and am looking for a female to fill my room. The room is available from the 18th November and comes fully furnished (bed, desk, cupboard, draws and mirror).
