Our humble abode is in prime location in Hawthorn - within 5 minute walk to Glenferry Station, Coles and Woolies, Chemist Warehouse (there's 2!) plus lot's of local cafes and park areas. The house itself is located on a quiet street with easy on-street parking (room comes with a permit). We also have a big back-yard in which Chelsea plans on creating a veggie patch! The vacant bedroom fits a queen-size bed and has huge built-in wardrobes for plenty of storage. Our current housemate's queen bed-frame can remain in the room if desired (a mattress would need to be purchased) or else we'll be donating it! Other than that, the room would come unfurnished.

Oh and endlesssss food options - Three floors high should flash floods occur - A covered cosy balcony with a couch to gave up at the stars - Very easy to upkeep / low bills - Lots of peace and quiet. - Underground secure carpark - Several parks nearby The vibe I want is one of chilled out tranquility and zen. It's a place to rest, read, recharge and work on your side grind, study or hobbies etc. Hosting the odd balcony party /sesh, is great, but it's not a regular thing. Given that I do study and the size of the place, I'm very conscious about noise. This means keeping the lounge room and couch a shared space. We can lounge around on our laptops or read. The neighbourhood is really friendly and safe. The street has lots of families and well-to-do couples. The house has air-conditioning and heaters. The room available is cosy in winter and nice and cool in summer because it's not directly facing the sun. Large built in wardrobes with two mirrors.
