I've just moved into the property. It's such a vibrant area. Burwood Rd shops are there for the taking. St James Park is a beautiful park to wake up and go for a walk around and Richmond and the city are literally a hop, skip and a jump away. Hawthorn West was made Hawthorn, but it's about as close to the city you'll get without feeling you're in a thoroughfare. The rooms are a good size, there's a double bed in your room and your room has loads of closet space. I have Internet in the property, there are car spaces outside to park, and easy off street parking for visitors. The great thing about this property is the large kitchen bench space, the views from the top of the building (third level) and location, location, location. In terms of what I bring to the apartment, I have toaster, kettle, a full coffee machine (happy for you to use - provided we do halves on beans), slow cooker, loads of utensils, fridge and loads of cookbooks. Please note: all applicants are subject to owner's permission before physically moving in.

Hi Everyone, I've just moved into this two bed apartment and looking for someone to join me :) It's pretty big with a huge front terrace and a little garden out back. Working towards the dream of having some veggies growing but the plants just keep dying so it's not a requirement but if you know how to keep a plant alive you'll already be ahead of the pack. Nice open plan kitchen/living area and the bedrooms are away from that space which is good. Secure entry, internet, laundry, heating etc. There are a lot of apartments in the building but I hardly ever see anyone, there's even a little water feature out the front of the terrace. Trams down bridge rd, swan st and glenferrie road just outside but because we're at the back of the block it isn't too noisy. Beautiful big park on the river just across the road and close to all the shops you could want.
